Odd bugs that jump

Hey AFN

Icewater here with a question hope I’m posting in correct forum. All start with saying my medium is coco I feed with advanced nutrients and I foliar spray and water in bo kashi bran than I bubble for 2-3 days before using . I’m not seeing any damage being done by these little guys but am curious as to what they are. I have been reading up and I think they might be spring tails ... I have had them before in soil and they didn’t do any harm . How many legs do they have?

They look exactly like thrips to me, I've never seen one jump before. They would start off down in the coco and then end up on your plant eating The Backs your leaves if they were.

By looking at them I can’t see any legs but zoomed up on camera in pic I posted can see something leg like lol

@jingo that was my first thought but they don’t do any damage ... I might just hit girls with a top dress of diatimouis earth definitely spelt that wrong lol

Actually there's a Wiki on thrips and it says they have short hardly functional Wings where they kind of crap and flap or something
