Mid Week 4 (flowering) Update

Its been 15 days straight with the LED up and no sign of plant stress, burn, curl, whim or whatever.

Plants are doing fine in general, except I am starting to struggle a bit handling 3 different strains with such different needs.
The Skunk Hazes are virtually spotless. haven't gone over EC 1.8+ because I am burning the NQ slightly at this range, so
I have to pull back. I need another rez so I can try pushing the Skunks are far as they can go.

They look a bit droopy because this is from when I got back on the 25th of December form family affairs,
and they hadn't had feed since the 23rd. When they puff up they're such sooo healthy! Remember, those are 10L airpots!

Here are a few of a Night Queen. She got a little nute burn, so I have to pull back on the EC.
But the buds are much fatter right now!

And here the biggest Ortega. I dunno what else to do. Lowered the EC to 1.4 before x-mas and still she got
massive burn. I suspect maybe something different, maybe Potassium deficiency since I have been
supplementing with Cal Mag right up to now, not any more. Excess Ca blocks K. Might add a little dose of PK 13/14
to experiment. They're also slightly on the pale side, but its not N deficiency as I've cut the Cal Mag and raised Canna A & B
to match recommended EC. Any advice warmly welcome. pH has been always 5.8.

The Ortega is definitely a plant for the more experienced grower it seems, or maybe the solution is simple?

And finally, growth charts!

your going to be very busy soon groff!

Week 11 (Flushing)

Before I start, sorry for the delay. 2013 started with a bang (almost literally) and I have been swamped.

Lets catch up... On new year's I left town for a party, only to come back on Jan the 2nd. During that time this happened...

Can't wait to ditch HID's forever!

Luckily, nothing major happened :joint: Only a blown timer, which left the lights on the entire time. The plants
suffered quite a shock, many fan leaves quit life and had to go... But lots of TLC brought them back. I cannot believe how well they´re doing considering
all the mishaps since day 1.

Feeding became a severe problem too. Almost all plants started to either burning or go hungry (following Canna's feeding chart). Lost some leaves
there too... but everything stabilized right after the 1 week pk 13/ 14 boost. Especially little Ortega's, they immediately toughened up the bright green
and became much darker with exploding new growth. BioBoost was also added to the feeding regime.

These were taken yesterday

This is the smallest of the Ortega's... green light makes the camera pick up the bud sites much better

more pics (Night Queen and Skunk Haze)

Despite the ugly and almost extreme defoliation, I am very happy with how they're doing. I've been very lucky and these babies, they've
been true fighters. I am thankful for their gifts to me, and the yield looks promising too, considering!

The chop is programmed for next sunday. Still another whole week for something else to go wrong!! (Murphy's Law to the test again...) ha! :D

Be back soon.

Glad you and your house are still there. No one needs an electrical fire. Plants look healthy by the way. Can't wait for the chop.

Looks good Groff, all things considered. Good work..
