I am trying a hempy bucket for the first time. The plant has been going a couple weeks, and I decided to read up about nutes for it.

One guy said that organic nutes could rot, and that you should use inorganic. I have been using General Organics, and they are partly organic.

So now I am looking for nutes..

I could use some suggestions. Would Grow More Sea Grow work? I have a lot of cal/mag, so I can add that along with the Sea Grow.

I only grow one plant at a time, and I grew more than I use before I got the hempy bucket. So those big bottles would just go bad. But I can get the General Hydroponics Flora Series Performance Pack, and those are smaller bottles.

This grow I am using Roots with some extra perlite in it. Next grow will be different. Prob half coco, half something else, soil or perlite.

Growing a AP Yodas Dragon Breath. I run it over 90 days, age it for several months, which mellows it out, and I really like it. It's too buzzy for me earlier.

You need a complete nutrient with micros. GH maxi bloom. flora nova. grow, micro, bloom use just two of this one micro and bloom.

if you have calmag get some osmocote plus. 20grams /gallon grows nice plants

I've already started the grow, kinda late to use osmocote.

Grow More was popular here a while back, and cheap. Was wondering if people still liked it.

Dont use the general organic in a hempy.
My Aunty Beryl just had to pull 12 of them due to slow growth and found sludge in the bottom of each bucket but the worst thing was not a single root was living down there even with 6 week old plants.
The roots had confined themselves to the top of buckets.
Don't waste your energy trying to make it work in a hempy.

Good advice no organics in hempy :slap:

Funny how things go in and out of favor.

Grow More, esp. the Hawaiian Bud, was very popular for a while. And it's cheap..

I drained the pot, and put close to a gallon back in (it can take a couple quarts more). I have a sample size of AN B-52 (2-1-4) and I added a scant tsp of that, with some cal-mag.

Soul line up from roots organic can't go wrong with it.
