What's good my people. I'm growing Dutch Passion's Autoblueberry strain in 3 gal Air-pots. Another new tool I'm trying out but with all you guys help I, we can achieve a beautiful healthy grow. I'm still a novice at growing so I will take all the support and critique i receive. Much needed.

Soil: Biobizz potting soil 35% and Pro-mix BX mycorrhizae 40%
Plus...
Worm castings: 5%
Dolomite lime: 5%
Perlite: 10%
Vermiculite: 5%

Light: Platinum LED 450

Nutrients: Cal-mag, and Dyna-grow nutrients. Should I use chemical nutrients for my organic grow???

Ventilation: Two small fans on top for now. (In the seedling stage)

So far it's been 6 days since seeded, Straight into my medium. They sprouted on the first and second of February.
My P450 LED light is on 24/0. Thinking of changing to 20/4 when bud sites appear? What do you guys and gals think ?

With the blueberry I've noticed that you need very light dosage of Every nute, and they need their darkness, they've done good with 20/4 during veg and 18/6 during flower, but you should try to see what works for you in your setup.

Hey, whats up man. Seen you introduction. Welcome. :pass:

Subbin up for you grow man. Good to see another Californian here in town. :bump:

Personally I would go organic or synthetic. I wouldnt recommend going both. The synthetic presence will eventually negatively effect your microbiology of the soil. Which organic nutes ne to be broken down into digestible forms of food for the plants. I suppose you could get away with a little bit synthetic, but you would be loosing anywhere from some to a lot of the full organic benefits. You wont regret going just 100% organic.l The flavor/smell/ and potency is amazing. Ive since then had non organic buds that I didn’t grow. The potency was great but, the flavor and smell just wasn’t quite there like with organic. Its overwhelmingly amazing to me.

I like 18/6 the best. I had some on 20/4 for a little while. Switched back to 18/6. Seems to me like it was pushing them a tad to much. I have not flowered in 20/4 So, I couldn’t tell you from personal. Depends on the strain I guess.

Cheers man, and welcome to the site. Wonderful place to be when you growing autos.

Thanks and welcome. I decided to go all organic."AFN smoke out"

Since I am using Biobizz soil, I am going to get their flowering nutrients too.

I have a question: Is Cal-mag plus from botanicare organic or chemical?

Are there any negative effects on seedlings for having the light on 24 hours a day? It's been a week since i seeded.

Ask yourself if you would like to be up 24 hours a day ?? My opinion is that plants need a rest just the same as you do .Negative effects . Stress . :goodluck:

Yea...I changed the light schedule to 22/2

Hey Q,
I've got a grow journal where I use LED, and my tent looks a lot like yours. Here's the link; it might be helpful. You won't make my mistakes anyway.

I was growing Lowryder 2 at that time. Oh hey! Where did you get those fans??? That's awesome. I've got similar sized fans, but they are taking up floor space in my tent. I've never seen ones that mount like yours. I gotta get some! Where?

Currently, I'm growing my own f1 hybrid of Lowberry and Auto AK 47. Still too young to tell how they will turn out, or if they will have retained some berry smell. The Lowberry is Dutchbreed's cross of Dutch Passion Blueberry and the Joint Doctor's Lowryder. So my Lowberry is probably a lot like your Dutch Passion auto blueberry. One of my Lowberry was an awesome phenotype that smelled strongly of berry.

I grew my Lowberry is a soil-less mixture called Sunshine Mix #1. I didn't add a thing, other than half strength fertilizer. My reading says that all the blueberry plants are nute sensitive. So fert lightly.

As far as going organic or not, I don't see that it matters much in an autoflower. I garden organic, like vegetables, fruit, flowers in the yard, but that's because I want quality soil that is alive and getting better over the years for planting crop after crop. With 70 days or so with an autoflower, I don't see that it matters. You really don't have enough time to get all the micro organisms living and doing their thing. Chemical fertilizer just makes food more readily available to your plants. Just my thoughts. Although I do use organic with my autoflowers, mostly because it is more forgiving and less likely to burn. Oh, and I've always done a light cycle of 20/4 with good results. Hope some of this helps. So about those fans.....
Cheers!
