New Grower Northern lights auto

Staggered harvests are a great way to allow lower buds to get a bit more light and go longer. The plant is not growing enough to cause it major harm or shock at the end. Now with that said the part of the plant that’s left is not going to get twice as big, and if you already have fluffy lowers they won’t get super dense. But the lowers will have a chance to get some better light and mature to a greater extent.

A lot of people also try to shock the plant, etc during pre harvest rituals. With the thought being stress increases trichrome production as a plant defense. So if you believe in that then the shock of a partial harvest could work the same.

I was not trying to contradict your input, your thought process is the logical one, and makes sense. Just sharing what many here do.

Good vibes to you both

Yeah I agree with you . From what I've read auto have no tolerance for stress. That's one reason I didn't top or really do much LST Other than bend the main stock once over to help the bottem branches get light. Now I'm just tucking the leaves .

Not a problem at all. I'm here to learn as well. Happy to know about this site and to be able to swap ideas with people. And learn new trick or techniques that I may not have tried. So I welcome the input with open arms. As much as I would love high yields my main goal is connoisseur level smoke. So I'm Gonna soak up as much Info from here as I can my friend. Cheers
