Should I twist on a pipe cleaner to just above the single leaf and secure it to the left?
This would pull the plant back to the left a tad.
Then when the plant grows a bit, I would just secure the new growth to the right side of the image and then when new growth comes in again, secure that to the side of the pot as well
rinse and repeat all the way around the pot.
then... the interior branches, just spread open as much as possible?
My main question at this point is which way would you secure the bottom of the plant to?
Temp 82
Humidity 55%
Watered w/ 1/2 gallon 10min ago - regular PHed water only.
Fan leafs keep getting bigger and a bunch of new node growth (bunch of little leafs)
Question - should I pull back the first fan leaf (3 fingers) to allow light to reach the new node growth on the single fan leaf below it or do people usually cut the single fan leaf and the node growth that comes with it?
I tied down the bottom of the step about 1in above soil.
I then looked for a spot on the top of the plant to stick a pipe cleaner to pull down the top half of the plant. I think this is just below the 5th node. I have read that I should have did this below the 3rd node but I have been trying to LST for a couple of days now and the gap between the nodes has been so tiny I could not fit a pipe cleaner until today. today there are 5 nodes so....
Here is a close up of the 2 pipe cleaners.
and another shot with both pipe cleaners just not as close.
Going FWD, I will try to pull down the top half a little bit more and when the top of the plant grows more (6th node... 7th node... ) I would pull that new growth down as well.
