how do you start them to put them on the clay pots tho?

I take young strawberry plantlets. I buy them in Holland, they come in packs of 10.
Then take one plantlet and thread the roots through the netting of the netpot. Then fill up with expanded clay pellets.
You just need the root tips to touch the water stream below. I usually have a 19/20 succes rate with this technique. Only the small plantlets with short roots need help. I thread a piece of cloth through one of the spokes of the netpot and make sure that touches the water. The rest will happen automatically. Just need to fill the Samla box with water, adjust EC and pH and let it run. NFT is fun to do!! And this, you can do with the kids

(does the light go out when the door closes ) (it does lol )​

But i dont intend on using the doors no loss.​

The built in fan in the freezer works too and blows into the freezer and into the fridge section.​

everything is moving along nicely in there.​

The hydrosoil got transplanted back into soil and then got detransplanted a day later again, And then had all its roots snipped 2 days ago and it is still going strong and growing after all that abuse, lol​
