fweedom, Thanks man! It's a very cheap usb microscope that cost about 25€ on sale in the grocery store, of all places. It has a 20X setting, 80X, and 325X and has adjustable front and/or back (top/bottom) lighting. Pretty snazzy for that money. :thumbs: Those trich pics are at 80X.

also do you think the white spots are bleaching spots on top? i saw some in the pics but i know how the camera does when the pistols are under led! makes their ass glow! i thought it might be bleaching before you said something about it!

Question Noods.... and anyone else that has grown out the SBR70.

So the 70 in SBR70 is in reference to how many days the strain needs ( days ) from seed to harvest what is anyones input on how correct that estimate is ? I see you are at day 60 now what is your best guess to how much you are going to let them run ?

Because you know how it is in the 12/12 world where many breeders go in low for flowering time when they really need a couple to a few more weeks of flowering to really finish correctly.

the last time i grew them...i grew out 4...i chopped 2 at 73 days...the trics were mostly milky...with just about the same amount of clear and amber...they had a really nice clear headed high to them..nice for still being able to get stuff done...and the taste of them is like no other!!...sour candy apples!!...the other 2 i let go to 86 days...no clear trics(from what i could see)and i would say 60/40 milky/amber...now the high from them two was narcotic!!...couchlock,heavyhead,straight to the eyes high...loved it!!!..very good pain reliever...and they also had the sour candy apple taste to them...so for me...and the kinda high i like...i let mine go 80 to 90 days and they're perfect for me...i can't say enough about the SBR-70...it's in my top 5 favorite strains!!..:dance:..:dance:..:dance:....:group:

Awesome Mr NS! :thumbs: Depending on my work schedule, the big one is coming down at ~70 days. I'll be checking her amber-ness in about three days again. I'll see about the smaller one, maybe let her go longer..

It's my opinion that that is just bleaching of the newest, uppermost growth, having something to do with the LED's and the tops being close to them. Looking at them with a magnifying glass, I see no more trich coverage than anywhere else on the plant, just normal plant matter that is white. Cool little phenomenon if you ask me. :thumbs:

well as long as it is only effecting the chlorophyll and not the trichs then thats ok!!!! how far is your led from the tops? and what kind of led do you have again? i have my blackstar 240 uv almost 6" from the top of mine and i have been watching carefully! i dont have any bleaching as of yet but i rotate mine daily to hit all sides of them! and adjust the distance between them and the light.

im interested to see the dried shot of any bleaching and see what the albino bad appeal looks like!!!! might start a new trend if it doesnt hurt potency!

The SBR70 with the white on top is 26cm, or 10 inches, away from my GN MS006, as is the Cream Caramel and they've been that way for the last few weeks. The CC is not displaying the whiteness on top...
You know, it's only just a few little bits on the tippy top. Probably like about 0.0002 grams. Nothing to worry about as far as being detrimental to yield or overall potency.
