Lighting Noob asking for advice

Maybe i should cancel the hydro progress. First chiller is way too expensive, second peltier stuff is kinda hard to assamble (where i live). I have lots of coco coir here, do you think its easier to handle?

coco will be a bit easier, but 26' water will be also a problem. Look for mobile conditioners, dehumidifiers, they also could help.
Peltier could be bought cheaply from Aliexpress / Ebay, assembly is really simple. Best way 2 go for you.

:bighug:Cool noted and corrected accordingly :)

Question: I just have a.n ph perfect grow and bloom a+b. I did not use it and water I use is 6.8 pH. Shall I use it? Or shall I order ph downer? Btw I have r.o system at home but I can't run it atm. Waiting for repair guy.
Lower ph, you can use lemon juice.

guys,

i have a question:

the temperature in reservoir is abour 26 C (78.8F) i added 1 ice bottle and its 24C atm and i think its still too hot. any solution for that? shall i add more funs direct to water? (uhm i mean like pots?) i can install 4 more fans. what do you think? (or is there any cheap DIY-way? :)

TY :)
I don't have a problem with that temperature. It's a tropical plant, it likes higher temps. When you get into the 90's, it's high. But I wouldn't worry about it being at 78.

I grow hydro and it really is much simpler than most people think. You just need the container with a lid, buy black stuff, or just paint the outside. I started with 3 gallon containers, but would recommend using a 10 gallon tank if you have the space.

Also need the net pots, pebbles, pump and tubing for it, some air stones, and that's all you need instead of soil. Everything else is the same, the fans, the lights, nutes, etc.

I love it! [emoji106]

Hydro is simple and effective, that is truth.
About temps in water:
@20'C trichoderma dies and other good micro organisms are starting to die. For example, if you keep your rez 18-19'C, use trichoderma, benificial becteria and fungi and rise rez temps rapidly to 21-22' -you see rapid PH dropdown, that is because trichoderma started to die and created more acid environment.
@21'C water itself is not taking O2 anymore, that means that roots have harder time to breath, also anaerobic bacteria is getting a good chance to live and thrive in that environment, escpecially if it's more acid.
Roots like ir cool, you can get healthier plants with normal tea temps.
Just few thoughts :)

Well, im not living in the us, it takes over a month if i order something from chine. Temps here atm 35 c there is no way that i can get it under 24 C. İm shopping atm and clueless

Hmm?

Ok then,

No more panic
İll try lemon juice and hydrogen perocsid. If it still wont work for a week or two, ill change the roadplan then:hookah:
