Lighting Noob asking for advice

Also, make sure you have a good air pump, your roots need a lot of air!

@Itisi

Am I missing anything?

Yes.

A good lawyer, don't let her get the dog but let her have the kids.

29c ain't the end of the world, have any fans blowing up towards the lights and away from the seedlings if you are going to add more fans.

Witchy and del are way ahead of me with dwc.

Anyway. Welcome to the family regen. I'll give my usual advice here, hide from the witch and don't let Vlad water your plants. Oh, and I think colorado del charges a picture of your feet for any advice (smokes a lot oil, sure there's no connection, just saying:crying:)

I am glad you posted pics, your rockwoll is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to wet and you water level is too high, you need to drop your water level in the rez to about an inch below the net pots and get that rockwool out of the water. That is what is stunting your plants IMO not the heat so much as the water. When your plants are small their roots need to go searching for the water and that is how they get bigger if there is plenty of water around they wont go looking and wont get any bigger.

@regen what you need to do is let all your rockwoll dry out all the way like take the wet mass you have and put it on something warm like a heating mat or something, not HOT by just something to aid in the evaporation of all that water. Once they dry out you want your water level to be jussssst below your net pots so that the popping air bubbles are what wets the bottom of the rockwool and the wicking action will draw up just the right amount of moisture. Drop the level in your rez now and turn off your air pumps as they are not doing anything at this point until the rockwool dries out some.

:bighug:Cool noted and corrected accordingly :)

Question: I just have a.n ph perfect grow and bloom a+b. I did not use it and water I use is 6.8 pH. Shall I use it? Or shall I order ph downer? Btw I have r.o system at home but I can't run it atm. Waiting for repair guy.

guys,

i have a question:

the temperature in reservoir is abour 26 C (78.8F) i added 1 ice bottle and its 24C atm and i think its still too hot. any solution for that? shall i add more funs direct to water? (uhm i mean like pots?) i can install 4 more fans. what do you think? (or is there any cheap DIY-way? :)

TY :)

regen, buy rez chiller or make one with Peltier element. 26 is way to hot, you could get pathogens easily. 21 is the limit, 19 is ideal.
Normal tea temps will fix most of your problems.
