Lighting Noob asking for advice

Hi Guys,

First of all sorry for any spelling mistakes, english is not my native language.

here is my setup:

8 x Osram DULUX L 55W/827 55 Watt 2g11 5000 lumens 2700k

8 x Osram DULUX L 55W/865 55 Watt 2g11 5000 lumens 6500k

4 x OSRAM Quicktronic Professional QTP DL 2x55Watt Ballast

(DIY wired, DIY reflector, etc)

1 tower fan

2 x mini fan, 1 x exhaust fan, 1 x inline fan? ( i will add some pics)

DIY bubbleponics with 2 x air motor

50cm x 80cm x 170cm closet

2 x stuned Northern Lights Automatic - Bubble Gum
3 x Big Buds

Advanced Nutrients Perfect ph Grow and Bloom

PH meter
ppm meter

highly motivated spirit


paper towel method used for germinating > checked

rockwools placed in water for 48 hours > checked

germinated seeds placed in rockwools and rockwools placed in plastic greenhouse thing. put it under 60 watt cfl (6500k) for 2 days > checked

put the seedlings under the reflector and t5 are not getting so hot, you know? its ok. go on. oh, ok > check....

3 seedlings are toast. the temp here atm is 29 C. (79F). My question is, do they still have a chance to survive if i put more usb fans btw plants and reflector?

i will upload some pics after i post this entry.

My suggestion is to use only one lamp right now and then just turn more on as they get bigger and you need more coverage. Highly motivated spirit. I love that!

Hello and welcome to the family! Honestly, you may want to buy led lights, and strong ones. Mars Hydro are a great option for cost effectiveness. I also have ViparSpectra lights and adore them. The amount of light you provide really makes a big difference on what size of buds you'll get. [emoji106]

I've used the t5ho's before but it was with soil.
