No Preflowers at 6th week

@Waira I see.. But I have tried the Light Meter app for android, it only reads two thousand lux. haha So either the lux is too low, or the app is not accurate. She gets direct sunlight for 1hr a day only.

I'll look into the lights you've said. Maybe for my next project if everything goes well. :) Thanks, bro!

Too bad you cant find a spot for her to be in full sun outside to finish her up.

I don't trust that reading, and lux is in fact, of no real use for horticultural purposes,....
You can get pretty much accurate PAR reading within +/-10%. If you have 3000K 80CRI COBs, simply divide by 69. Much cheaper than PAR meter and enough for hobby level.

Well to update, she died. FML. :( The light at the backyard isn't just enough. It died from the bottom towards the upper part of the plant. Gave it more nitrogen just to try and compensate the energy loss from light, didn't work. Didn't have nute burn also. Oh well.

I just found this thread and an in a similar situation. I have two Mandarin Haze at Day 41 and I have been concerned about when they will flower. Their vegetative growth seems to have slowed down the last 2 days and I think that they are getting ready for preflower. There are two auto skunks in the same tent with them that area week younger and shad started preflower 3 days ago.

hey there sorry just found out this one. What is the problem with fastbuds' girl scout cookies? I'm seeing in many pages people telling they have gsc of FB and it's not autoflowering. And I'm experiencing this issue too. My GSC is 8 weeks old, showed first preflower hairs(only a very few) by the main stem near the upper side at week 5 but no pistils or flower development since. I guess it's a semi auto thing because it automatically showed first preflowers without any change on lights but guess it's not well bred. It still has photoperiod genes inside and I just switched to 12/12 yesterday.Let's see what happens

My experience with autos that are slow to flower are not good at all. I once let a master Kush go for 20 weeks. She was a monster. I figured, when she finally started to flower, she would give me a huge harvest. I was wrong. She hermied.

I binned a plant last week on week 7 because she was showing the same trait.

I’m not saying get rid yet, but keep your eye on her. If she don’t start flowering soon, get rid.
