Gotta say I'm also surprised at your hermis...I've grown Nirvana autos and photos for years and never had a herm....just finished two Bubble autos and got one more at a month old....for you to get two out of the same batch, something has occurred....

Any ideas of what ? I dont think im missing anything. The only thing that could stress them out is the temp of the water. Its the only thing i dont no about. My temps dont change that much to cause stress. I have also just gave them a 4day dry spell as i need to get them all watered on the same day as im off to dam soon for 3 days
Any ideas to what could have caused this would be nice. As im clueless

Ive been growing a few years and this is my 1st hermi to.
Answers welcome !! Lol

day 34

So ive just visited the den and gave them all a good going over and couldnt see any new nuts developing but have seen signs of a little nute burn so im going to bring down the nute reg as follows:
Grow 2ml
bloom 3.5-4ml
Top max 3 ml
alg a mag 3ml
This is per litre
im hoping the alg a mag will be a good banker for the mg deff that ppl tend to see with bio bizz products.
Has anyone used alg a mag and still had to add epson salts to combat mg deff.
Im not really seeing any signs of it but id like to make sure my girls have enough there to use seeing as im using bio bizz light mix

I am a believer in the "less-is-more" approach to nutes. I feed my plants what they need as they need it, rather than trying to max it out. Of course, I've seen people do much better with dialing in their nute levels to the plants max threshold, but I'm not THAT brave.. :o

I use the Cal/Mag supplement sparingly, as a preventative measure. I don't over do it, and wouldn't use both (Epsom salt and a supp), especially if you're not dealing with a major def. My advice would be to apply gradually and slowly, you can always add more, but may not be able to recover from an over-application. I'm still an "unknown quantity at this point", so you may want to wait to hear a more "seasoned" advice from the experts around here.

Cheers, mate.

:peace:

Cheers ghabi, i think i am probably a week to soon at that strength so i may knock everything back by a ml and carry on. Its only slight on one or two of the fan leaves but if i dont listen to them and carry on upping it id be in trouble. Your 100% right. Less is best and i seem to have gone in guns semi cocked and only slightly over done it

I think ill hold off on the epson salts untill ive herd of sumone using that supp and salts combined before i try it out. Ive never used epson salts before so im a little cluless

The Epson salt is great, nothing scary about it. I'm just not so sure about using it with another mag supplement. The cal/mag gives you that, plus the calcium, so why both..?

BTW, the plants are looking good. Glad to hear "no more nuts", just keep an eye..
