I've been running a little test to try and determine if the heavy frost is just good genetics, as some suggest, or if the uvb has something to do with it as according to "Marijuana Man" in his 2007 youtube video on the subject:

This may be obsolete by now, bypassed by genetics, but I've got plenty of shaded buds that haven't gotten the uvb and are only showing frost on the sugar leaves, pistils, and calyx's none on the fans like those exposed to the 8 hours a day. Also, those exposed had turned cloudy in the first few hours while the shaded have not. No signs of any amber yet but clouded won't be any indicator in this case..
After flushing constantly for 5 days, I decided to harvest the tops from ShortRyder 1 and the remainder of the solid buds of Blue Mystic.
This cola trimmed wet weighed 61 grams.
The first 3 on the right are BM. The remainder are SR1 total so far, wet weight, 133 Grams with some flowers still maturing.
ShortRyder 2 is a week behind, in cleansing now, will harvest Friday.

Unusual airpot occurance. Buried under sog, this went undiscovered until I removed the plant from the cab.
More BM, total wet weight so far, 128 grams. Some still firming up.

Both are turning out to be excellent vape.
SR 2 is going strong and I may let it go longer than Friday for max potency. The others are just where I like it for daytime meds. A little night time couchlock or even temporary oblivion wouldn't hurt a bit..
