Indoor Nirvana Blue Mystic-ShortRyder

That was the plan.
Can't knock her for trying.

I think what Turtle was asking was .... What you been doing w/ them girls when the lights were off ...

Showing their sisters a hot time.

Looks like what happened to my plant:

If that's a 2nd stem it is. ShortRyder?

What is that going on?
From the looks of the stem you started training it early. If you were going to lay her over, its another coincidence. I started LST early to lay mine down and ring the pot but it looks like shes going to be short and tight so it won't work.

Chester, Having the finger dexterity of sausage, I don't even want to try to touch the plants this young to ponytail. I use bamboo skewers to gently move the stem or leaves one way or another to expose branching. When I have it where I want it I just push the end into the soil to hold where it is or in just a little and lay the skewer down to hold the plant open. The skewer enables a lite but precise touch, is lite enough not to break the stems but still holds them down for a while and long enough to lay on the pot edge so the plant doesn't really hold the whole weight.. After a few hours or when the plant closes back up on its own I move to another node in rotation. Curving it over from just under the top node opens that whole side. I use a second skewer more firmly planted almost perpendicular to the base about a half inch up the stem as a fulcrum to bend the stem without putting much pressure on the roots. I just hit all 4 directions in the course of the day."AFN smoke out"

You read my mind.

So the plant was pollinated and all it produced were two nearly empty seeds. Next time try it with the lights on, Feenix. May get lucky.

I'll have to try the bamboo skewer method ... I can be a little ham handed myself ... :Sharing One:

You know a gentleman doesn't tell.

Whether or not it pollinated remains to be seen. More likely some slight herme action that never finished into viability. I'll know better when I get deeper into the jar. So far the one small bud is all I've tried. It smokes and works fine so I don't think there was any male action. Just a girl trying to fulfill her motherly instincts.

I've gone thru two more larger buds and no more seeds yet.

I'm not sure how seeds grow with no males. Perhaps one of the experienced breeders will chime in.

Chester, This gives an idea of how well the skewers open up the leaves with little wear and tear.
