Yo Tony;......... the OHS have already started on the trich building journey !!..........just a couple of weeks into flower. This is an early start. There are several OHS Dames, building 4no 12"-14" flower structures on each.
Tony; I am starting to wonder if i should up the diameter of the support canes !!.......... i think these may be the largest flower structure i have encouraged to develop their full potential, to date mate !! This could end up my biggest flower show so far. The trophy current holder is "Ultimate" with a 15" 9cm diameter !!
Best wishes to the "House Of Orange" for tomorrow, the 30 April. As "Willem Alexander" will have completed his first year as "King" of the Netherlands. Good man. "B"

Day 74 & 33 of Flower, 2 days short of 5wks of flowering; OHS;
So 3 to possibly 4wks left of flower, before 10-14 day flush starts;
Started Pk boost now at 1ml ltr, going up from there, to 250ppm last 3wks etc...
3 of the OHS have now showed 3mm tip burn at 400ppm of nute, and 200ppm of alkaline buffer & cal/mag, giving an overall Ec of 0.93 (Hanna),
and are just starting to show initial signs of calcium & magnesium lock out. Due to to higher Ph in soil, around or just above Ph7.
So will have to RO flush those girls asap, flush at 5.8 RO to bring down substrate Ph.
Even though i kept veg & early flower nute to a minimum, flush still needed on 3. But better than most of them as before.
After stripping around 15% of fan leaves, the extra light penetration has helped to double the flowers size in the last ten days since last update.
They are responding very well to 180 degree rotation daily, and even flower growth as a result.
Most are showing very slight tip burn at this stage, 4-5wks from end, so not to bad. Showing i could use less nute next time !!
Temps are, Low 21c high 28c RH 43-54 high. temps creeping up as summer temp ambient pushes in. 16c air plus 10c room background ambient = 26-28c !1 another 3c air and temps and Rh will be up there !!
The OHS large & medium fans are very rugged, like tough and thickish texture, like terain hardy !!
So far though, the low nute has delivered no issues, and has delayed flush, to half way through flower.
I would usually flush once after veg, and at end of flower. No other issues encountered so far with OHS >> 5wks of flower OHS >>

They are putting on weight a a pace, from here 4-5wks left to flush, these should be hevy weight fruits,
have already fitted support canes for these fruits, as some OHS are 1.3m from soil. needs support for sure !!
The bows are trained post sigle topping, to be upright and quite tigh on the over diameter of the plant, each
under 60cm plant diameter, and "lollypopped" below, with stronger, longer lower bows due to topping main stem once @5wks, 1 week post sexing.
So far no complaints with these Dutch Dames de "Oranje" thanks for looking in guy's, nxt update 10 days.... "B"

Thanks Db................ the perfume from the Orange Hill Special Skunk is exactly that, "Mixed Tropical Fruits"........... at this stage with just 3wks of Pk left to ripen them to the fullest weight. And the last 3-4wks is when these pack it on rapidly................ even though, drinking is slowing, which is an indicator the end of season is approaching fast !!......

This will be the 3rd to last OHS Dames; Update !!" Dp's "Orange Hill Special" @Day 84 @12wks o/a, @Day 43 @6wks of Fruiting;........
WOW; The Dutch Dames, De Orenji have gone mental after bringing the "VPD" back into line, got RH down to 45-48 the diff shows, got temps back into range, with outdoor ambient soaring, got heat differential down to 25-27c and RH 45-48. Currently feeding 650ppm, broken down thus; 200ppm tap and AN cal/mag buffer. 250ppm of GreenAir Pt 1 & 3. Topped off with 200ppm of Pk 13/14 canazym added 1ml/ltr.
Final Ec 0.96 inc buffer. Water aerated de-& re gassed, brought upto air ambient temp thats RO & Tap combi. The reason is for using tap water buffer is simple, "Clorine" is essential for cell formation, but aint put in any pre bought nutes, due to "Volatility" but water company's chelate it. making it available to the Dames. The result is more powerful fruit formation. Also in Tap water, "Un-Bonded Calcium carbonate, & Magnesium" why pay for it when it's in Tap water ??...
Did complete 4 plain Ph'ed water flushes, on 4 different Dames, to check the "Ec Of Run Off"......... was very surprised at the findings. The Run Off Ec was 1.05. That is 0.09 above feed Ec !!..... showing the low nute input early on has delivered dividends. The Run off Ph was 6.8. Bang on the Fruitification Ph needed in the soil matrix. Soil temp 19-22c. In addition i have been watering plain Ph'ed (6.0) water 2 days per week, helping the dames to "Use Up" any retained salts in the root matrix.
And helping to pull back down the soil Ph, keeping it in the range 6.5 to 6.8 superb outcome. have hit the Orange dames 3 times with 100ml each of "Sprite" delivered neat direct to soil, washed in with feed. Fructose/lactose/Galactose & Palm Sugar "Carbo Boost" you cant beat it for Trich formation provocation. And "Beneficials" stimulation to release sugars to fruit.
They still have 10-14 days to convert Pk into sugars !!......... and fill out the bottoms of those 14" colas structures. Just started to show 3mm tip burn, but no "Tips Down" from pushing to hard. I have hit the nute "Sweet Spot" with these Orange dames for sure. The canes are already bearing the brunt of the weight of these fruits De Orengi.
I am certainly pleased i wont have to go much further into the summer temp rise, with these OHS Dames, as they are peeking around now. And RH & VPD are bang on atm.
Very pleased with these as we approach the final 10 days fruit formation, and 2 have started to finish early at wk 12, and are sucking back mobile elements atm into a finish. here are the dames Wk12 6wk fruiting. And they are 'Fruity" a Gorgeous Bouquet in the space just after light on, from these Dames...... Tuti Fruit Tropicana. OHS >>

Ec 1.06 (600ppm) Ph 6.6
all other factors normal,
Rh 48. temp 25-28c Low 22.5c
It's been 10 days since last update, and they have put on 40% more trichome load. In response to higher Ec 1.06 & higher % Pk, in addition to a week of carbo load last week before every feed, that's black-strap molasses, at 2tsp/gal (4.54L). to aid microbial uptake synthesis.
Just a handful of days left on nute, before 10 day flush begins. So 15.5wks full term, to get max loading on the fruits 108 days overall. The Orange at 21% is very, very sticky, citrus & combined fruit tang to the resin load. Drinking is slowing down slightly now, but every drop is going to the fruits, which are very dense/solid, with low leaf to calyx ratio.
No other issues have been encountered, straight forward to grow, will respond well to a low nute regime, have only had to flush a couple of these Crystal Leiden Dutch Dames, i am sure they would go another week on nute, and have just started turning classic "Orange" pistils atm. Very pleased with this strain, very tolerant, vigorous high integrity strain. here they are, Orange Dames OHS >>

"Power Plant" an old school 100% inbred line bred gynoecious, True Feminized 100% Sativa Strain.
But not 12/12 from 1st poping beans;
