I just go with the pH range on the bottle....can hardly keep up with swings using 5.5-6.2 when things get going and if I don't keep it low enough (<5.8) for long enough I get signs of mag deficiency.

hey wouldnt it be great if your res had a bottom drain built in like a pond does
To what I think im seeing lately kush is that with these protien & carb L chain amino acid elements in the res my ph are not tipping to one side as quick with the plants must be utilising & feeding on the the Left chains and not as much so now in potassium an phos ect to speedin the offset of balance between acid & alkaline ! basicly there is a more fuller richer source of food for them now than just plant feed nitrates salts ect ! but i havnt tried yet with just the left chains an vitamins ect but to what i understand noticing the health they are at sinse i went into this other area of plant nutrition it does help but i also add all ther main feed to just to reassure myself its in there !
mate are you finding your aero spray noise has quitened down now that the rootmass has filled out ? an have your gorilla og's finished yet you mustnt have long left now on them.

Yeah bud, have got used to the aero and it's not been any more intrusive a noise than the NFT pumps without the air hose. With the air hose on NFT (as I'm doing with Auto Jedi Kush) it's noisier but I want to see if it makes a difference.
Will be interesting to see how APG feeds for you......I got the impression mine was feeding more on the alkaline side and kept sending pH low. I ended up using PK boost and flushing a lot out so I could add more water to raise pH during top ups.

nice one kushy ! the nft pump dosnt half rattle sometime dosnt it , ive tye some elastic thread around the piece of wood that the trays sit n so the pupm is suspended an not touching anything !This is How these ones are today ! the right side tray and furthest away plant is the big bang auto and the neer one is the Hod :smoking: and the left tray is the other big bang auto and the APG , its hard to tell which one is which out of them at moment! the right tray is 24 days and the left tray is a week behind about 17 days ! abit slower to grow in winter but happy the way there getting on !

Here is the rehearsal of preparation with the sg225 trays before putting them in : here we have the white sg225 tray itself , some cut up plastic mesh , some nft fabric / matting and a correx plastic sheets for the cover !
