Indoor Newbie germinating Bubba Trouble

Here they are today looking beautiful and already smelling absolutely delicious.

The one on the left is at day 29 and the one on the right is at day 24. I switched to the 3000k QB boards a couple of weeks ago due to heat and air circulation issues. At first they stretched like hell until they got used to it.

Looking good. I do not trust air pumps that run hot. I always run redundant air pumps on a ups battery backup. Seems like I ran 2 - 6 lpm dual ports through good stones, one stone from each pump in each res. Plants can recover from lost light not so for oxygen depleted roots. It might just be the photo but it looks like the older one is showing a little tip burn?

She is absolutely showing some tip burn but from purely my own diagnosis it was from letting them get too close to the light and it is a combination of light bleaching and nute burn when she was trying to keep up with the light over-saturation? I moved the light up further to 24" from the canopy and reduced the power to 75%. Ironically though they are going to be going under another

I would actually love some other opinions/confirmation on what could be causing it as well though.

Also, if anyone else sees anything else I could be doing better please do not hesitate to let me know. I am a newbie just looking to soak in as much info. as possible.

As an aside I cannot wait to make your DIY Rosin Press one day, that is my project for next Spring!

I am really struggling with pH on the older girl now, is this normal? She will drop ~1.8 points every 8 hours. She was originally at around 850 ppm but the water is now showing down in the 190s after 5 days with the res.

Here they are in their new 4x4 tent with a net to try and tame them. These girls are crazy though and I am having so much trouble managing their height and pH now lol.

looking good dude subbed up ive ran bubble buckets a couple of times the ph fluctuation can be a pain in the arse I found adding silicone to the mix slowed down the fluctuations (always add to a ltr of water separately then when mixed add to your main body of water then add your nutes as normal) f im reading this right your ppm is going from 850 to 190 if that's the case shes eating up all the food change the bucket maybe up the feed strength a bit oh and your gonna need a bigger tent :smoking:

Well I learned A LOT with those girls. The smoke has been absolutely fantastic and the best I have ever personally had.

Unfortunately, they were both nutrient burned and starved. Light burned and starved. I let heat be an issue early in their life but all in all they were so incredibly hardy that they still turned in a solid harvest. The MOAB really made them swell the last couple of weeks but I stopped taking pictures because it was so depressing knowing what they could've been if they had been treated perfectly. Thankfully, I have 2 more beans left out of the five pack and I can't wait to return to them after I have done a run of all of my illuminauto's.

All in all, A+++ on a newbie growing experience @Magic . Thank you for creating a strain that lives up to your name and made this newbie's grow be a fruitful endeavor :)

Last pictures of the lovely ladies about 3 weeks from the day they were chopped.
