Indoor Newbie germinating Bubba Trouble

Here are pics of my new girls:

Orange Biscuits & Creme-Tasmo @ Day 55 from seed. Purple Nuggets @ Day 43 because I had 3 fail to germinate :(!

The Creme-Tasmo in the back has been AMAZING, basically every leaf on her looks greasy already. She damn near pH's herself and barely drinks water compared to the Orange Biscuits which seems like it is weeks behind and much more finnicky.

Port & Stilton @ Day 20

and I have a Forgotten Strawberries in a germ chamber now :D

So what did I specifically learn through this experience? 75% nute strength is the sweet spot it feels like. Keeping the lights at 235-240 watts and 24" away through out will give me bulk without burning. Keeping the res at 70, room temp at 75 is pretty perfect for me. Letting the res run down to around 1" of water and topping off with nute'd water in the middle of the week is important, not just topping off with plain water. I am down to only doing a res change every two weeks for the first 6 weeks of their lives. It is both easier on me and they maintain rock solid pH while showing similar growth to a once a week change.

Well since the Bubba Trouble I have now grown and harvested a CremeTasmo, Orange Biscuits, Purple Nuggets, and a Port and Stilton. A Forgotten Strawberries, Forgotten Oranges, and Sour Creme are still moving along. The smoke from my Bubba Trouble is so amazing and smooth now though and I realize that I didn't mess it up quite as bad as I thought I did. I really look forward to popping one of my two remaining beans of Bubba Trouble to see what I can get out of her now that I understand my lighting heights, nute strengths, and temps for my environment. I also will be topping the BT at the 4th node to control her height better this time. Whenever I do get around to it I am going to be posting some photo updates in here to show the difference between the plants.
