New Grower Newbie first grow

Hello AFN! so here we have my first row ever. I did a quick intro last week but here are the basics.

Mephisto seeds, chemdogging and Fantasmo express in 3 gallon airpots. Top 1/3 is biobizz light and the rest roots organic. I have them in a 3x3x5 tent. Viparspectra 600 light(I’ll be upgrading very soon). 6” inline fan running slightly less than %50 and a small clip fan. The FE was a few days behind chemdogging breaking through the soil. I’ve seen some real growth in the last week. Here they are at 14 days for FE and 18 for chemdogging. One question I have is At what point should I be watering enough to see runoff out the bottom? Thanks for your time guys

Right im not to sure what you medium is i use coir i assume yours is soil so my info could be wrong?
If so from what i hear i think water every 3 days or lift your pots if there light feed them if heavy dont and i would say 5 -10% runoff i aim for 20% in coir also less is more.

You plan on toping or lst?

Yes those are soil’s. I wanted to LST but I’m hesitating a little. Thinking maybe I should make sure I could have temperature, RH And all the vitals dialed in however If I don’t I think the tent is going to fill up quickly once they start growing

Take a look at the topping threads on the forums lots of information to read im new to growing myself after reading nearly 200 pages i got my scissors and snipped after that i lstd its all a learning curve mate.
Im gonna order some mephisto seeds next week they seem like great genetics

hi pal yes i would be watering to run off im not a soil grower though i grow with coco also the viperspectra 600w is one of my old lights i still have it as a spare and she served me well also Mephisto are top tier for quality and genetics

You can start watering to run off now, since its been 2 weeks.

My head spins when I start looking at all the options for leds. Leaning towards some autocobs though.

Im looking at cobs aswell chilLED logic have some great kits but its costly either them or a mars ts

1 week update... so far everything is good. Noticed a brown spot and small brown edge on one plant and to a shaped leaf on the other so I raised my light 2”. I decided to jump right in on the first grow and attempt some LST. What do you guys think?
