Outdoor Newbie Auto Greenhouse Grow Journal

Canna Rhizotinic? Good Bad?

Ok,

Doing some research, I have read that using Canna Rhizotonic will increase the yield of my autoflowers as well as help with resistance to bugs etc..

Is this nonsense or will it do as said?

I have my finger poised on the "Buy it now" button so any help from you knowlegeble folk would be much, much appreciated!!

Quick Update..

These are now 4 days old.. Growing nicely!

I planted 3 EasyRyder and 1 AK Auto on the 19th, they Sprouted on the 24th, lost one easyryder and here are the rest today, 4 days after breaking the surface! I lost one :( so now have 3 from this set.

Ok!

Do I spend or don't I! Hmmmmmm..

My babies are looking a little spindly which I can only assume is due to lack of airflow to create resistance to said airflow...

Problem: Very stealthy greenhouse = no power.

Possible solution: I am thinking that an 80w car radiator fan, 12v battery and 1 100w solar panel should rectify this issue! I am contemplating it but would it be worth it? Would be the only grow I can get in this year...

Thoughts? Is there a better solution?

On a side note, since using Canna Rhizotonic they are shooting up! The first pic is of one that was sown on the 19th and popped through on the 24th, the second was sown on the 24th and popped through on the 28th! The second is only two days old and is smoking!!

It definitely makes a difference!!!!!

I think I was over watering/feeding them to begin with as I was watering every night and feeding every night.

After reading a few posts I realised it was best to let the soil get quite dry before watering them as this helps with root formation as the plants have to search for water.

I also read a few posts on feeding so will be feeding them every other water with 1/2 strength nutes.

Still need to get to the bottom of the fragility if the stems and how I will get a fan in a non-electrified greenhouse :/

In my green house the sprouts go real slow till right before the 3 week sex mark and then they just grow and grow. It's pretty amazing.

Mine have been growing quite quick I think... The heat the last few days has had a tiny effect on the plants so have managed to get a really long extension lead and get a fan in there to get some circulation..

Do you find you yeild more in the greenhouse vs indoor?

Cheers Torch :)

Foot for foot you'll yield more indoor. I have a 400 watter indoor 3x3 ft, but outside I have a 10x12 greenhouse which costs me nothing to light so I yield more there. Indoor is year round to.
