problem with true no till is tht when starting out it takes roughly a month for other greens to grow and decompose for N and macro foods as well. without the buffering capabilities when its new is less. so it typically takes a month or so then i would plant into it. its tough with Indoor no till prep for true no till. people think its true no till with these methods and its not. its essentially a hybrid formulation of the two. a cookie cutter or shake n bake method of soil systems AND a no till method. both are required to some extent since buffering needs to be implimented as well as the carbon and N and macro fooods breakdown. its a cycle not a set and forget kinda thing. its like I mentioned the one time we talked on the phone.a month ahead of time get some clover or similar going then let it die essentially then re do it with a top coating then it should be fine with the buffering ablities along with the excess foods.
