Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum site here and new to auto’s,for the most part. I had one survive my apparent onslaught of care about a year ago and it barely flowered I would say. I don’t know what I keep doing to these auto flower plants but they seem extremely sensitive.
I have one predominate ‘house strain’,as I call it, that I understand how to grow and it is simply a Hawaiian Maui plant that’s really easy to clone also; lowww thc. I also have what I think is Afghani and another plant that is Afghan Kush. They take longer to clone, and maybe 20% success rate, here in the southeast.

I believe I am over watering these plants but I’m barely watering them. Using General hydroponics flora series on Coco and perlite. The strains that are suffering are northern lights auto, OG Kush auto, and gelatOG’ and Girl Scout cookies seriously suffered. They suffered the most under HPS lighting, but now they’re suffering under a sky 300

There is an Infirmary form that you can fill out. That would be of great help.

Fill out the form as suggested, but I can see a couple issues right on top.

Coco is a hydroponic medium, unless your feeding 8 times a day, your not overwatering.
Coco must always remain damp during a run, if it drys out, it will screw with the pot pH and cause lockout issues. Guessing from your photos, your in pot pH is no longer within the needed range.

Coco you check pH and ppm going in and coming out. Soil is much more forgiving with pH issues as the soil will buffer some, coco is inert, and will follow pH of what your feeds are.
A ppm meter and a pH meter will be required to grow with this style.

OK thanks. Yes, I believe that is what my understanding was when I started the Coco and perlite., That I was actually growing hydroponically just with a bit of a medium slow down per say. I did pretty well with the sativa and I have always mixed the nutrients on exactly label standard. I got really good results using advanced nutrients boosters. But it seems AN Rootboosters and mild Hydro ferts( about a week and a half to two weeks after first set of leaves )have done something to these autos

And yes, this is my first forum for cannabis. I’ve got several other questions about cannabis. But I’ll try to put them in the right forum.

Are your plants definitely autoflowers? Generally people don't usually clone autoflowers due to their set time lives. You can definitely clone an autoflower but it won't turn out great, or produce a great yield.

In the first picture, your plant looks healthy. Looks like you have some interesting genetics there looking at the leaf structure. Are bugs getting your plants? They look eaten lol

And in the second picture your plant looks like it needs more water. You see how the leaf is drooping from the stem? It means they're craving water.

Hey,
Thanks for responding. I think I found that that problem I had there was even from using pool tight pH conditioners from big box store. I live in a region of the southeast where my pH of my own tapwater is 6.8 most of the time. In moments of ‘enlightened-impaired’ genius, I’ve used store-bought reverse osmosis water and that is when I had the problem. I thinK pool ph conditioners along with having 0% micronutrients in the RO water was the problem. —— those autos (which were NL OGK primarily) bounced back and gave a decent yield I would reckon. . I’m finishing up those ones that got really started like the Girl Scout cookies. And cloning the new photo. That I got. Continually looking for the best nutrients, then using General hydroponics with the Coco and then Also using advanced nutrients as boosters. I now understand better that if you’re using soil and going completely organic you can use only advanced nutrients and have a really nice organic set up. I guess I was amending with them and using GH Flora for about eight months. Still using GHMicro when I see deficiencies(that I can’t figure out) , right ?
Right now my idea is Coco and Prolite amended with organic compost planned. I’ve got a 4-4-4 that I add to that and then—- I’ll be damn if Dr Earth Pansy Food, off the big box shelf ain’t 3-7-4, and seems to use all the right ingredients. If you add bat guano and worm castings to the ingredients in the pansy food and my compost blend, that’s everything on the organic nutrients checklist pretty much. And that would be Kellogg from HD, and also Dr Earth Pansy Food. I Would reckon you Would need a little more potassium.
To get to the point of this post, I’m wondering if anyone has had any experience with a sativa growing really stout and thick and hard after you’ve cloned it and it has revegged while cloned. It grows the single finger smooth leaves and everything. Well I tie back onlythe best 4-5 heads and cut off other branches. —-Man this plant can look about 4 different ways!
I’ve also got a plant that looks like WW leaves, but grows the very decisive single stalk with arms like most of my auto flowers have grown, very easy to stretch out arms at 90* angle and all, strong ‘under-arm’ shock absorbers under each branch. But it has pretty much white resin like WW. It has gotten slap EAT ALIVE here at the end of flower! It looks like mites plus aphids, etc.
I’ll post a pic in just a second

The first two are of the city that I have. I don’t know what strain it is. It grew pink hair is outdoors this year. It’s a heavy yielded with little odor. And then the other one is of what I think is white widow, and I’ve taken the tops already from that plant. The last one is the plant that suffered from the bugs. I’m not sure what this plant is either.

Those are classic russet mite pictures. It took me this long to figure it out.
the way the rest of the plant is in fine condition too.
Do I have to scrap the whole grow? They’ve definitely ruined my auto flowers. All hairs are turned brown and receeded
