Old Reviews New tent and light advice (UK)

Ah, the SP series is new. Likely almost as good. With ur quantum board it can power up to a 4 ft x 4 ft tent.

Cheers mate. Thanks for the advice.

GL with autopots, let us know how they work out. Also like the idea of those.

Thanks. I've been using the autopots for awhile now and absolutely love them. Usually use biotabs but this time I'm using a new organic amendment. Very little messing around once the soil is mixed and takes out the main problem with my previous grows... Me :crying:

Check out the links in my sig.

Hi folks, hope everyone is well.

I'm trying to decide on a new tent and light setup and hope you can help me choose.

So I'd like to grow 3 or preferably 4 plants using autopots. I'd like everything contained within the tent reservoir, carbon filter, fan etc. Budget is £350 max.

I've been looking at the mars hydro tent range:-

120x60x180

100x100x180

120x120x200

As for the light I have a 135w quantum board so could either buy a ts1000 to go along with it or either the tsw2000 or tsl2000.

Could also get a sp150.

Or this https://invisiblesunled.co.uk/colle...ltural-lighting-system-powered-by-samsung-led

Look forward to hearing your advice.

Cheers

Instead of adding another 135W quantum board kit, I see that the QB96 Elite Engine is back in stock, get the HLG 185H 54A for $55 and the QB Elite engine complete with heatsink for $70. That's a lot of lightweight versatile power in a 4 inch square footprint. Smaller, more powerful and cheaper too than another quantum 135 board or a Mars TS1000. Once you get one you'll immediately want to get a few more, it combines the benefits of a cob and a quantum board, without the disadvantages of either.

Better spread with the 135 watt.....

Some try to justify their purchases, others will tell you the truth.

Better spread? Yeah the QB96 also gives you a better spread than the 135 board, as well as the other benefits I've already noted. Sounds like you need to justify your purchase.

LOL, ok.....whatever u say

Just because you can be a faceless interweb doofus doesn't mean that you have to behave like a complete asshat, not that I mind if you want to posture as an asshat as long as you still have something intelligent to say, which apparently you do not. I'm sorry if my post triggered you for some reason.

Meanwhile please explain how the 135 gets a better spread than the qb96 with a 185W driver? I'm more than happy to be proved incorrect if in fact I am.

QB96 is inferior tech to the QB288v2 Rspec boards...not saying one is right or wrong for certain scenarios, but it's not carrying the same diodes and doesn't spread the light across the canopy the same way because it's much smaller.

if Iconoclown had bothered to research he wouldn't have posted misinformation. Rarely do I get angry only when I see bullshit.
