Wish I new what happened on my first grow. Maybe no airflow is why I got bud rot. Fan will be up and running on this grow. When learning, failure is a great tool for not repeating the same problem twice.

You should get a rotating fan that you can adjust. I hung mine upside down with a rope and a wire, so I could adjust the height. Also, the Powdery Mildew, fly about and stick around. Use some rubbing alcohol or vinegar, with a spray bottle and clean cloth. Spray it on EVERY surface and wipe, including the ceiling, and such. Also, make sure you don't have any other plants in the room. You gotta make sure your grow area is as clean as possible. Dol this before you turn on your fan. Your pots could make a difference too. If you aren't getting dry soil, where you have to water, at least every three days, then you should look into better aerated pots.

As he said here basically you need to strip the whole entire room. I'd go crazy with it I mean take apart my fan clean everything because once it comes, if you don't 100% remove it..... You keep ruining crops so make sure you're clean mate. Hope everything goes smooth this round.

Good Morning All-

I have already wiped everything down with bleach. I have I think a 1 gallon pot I bought at Home Depot. It has holes on the bottom, but I added more just to be safe. What kind of fan should I buy? I worry about it over heating and causing a fire. Still new at this so I worry. I know it sounds stupid, I just worry.

Today is Day 2 when I planted a germinated seed in 16oz solo cup and nothing yet. As I am 56 years young, I still get excited waiting for the seed to pop through the soil.

I have only burped my airy ass buds twice. Been told to do this once a day for 20 minutes. Please chime in if you have other methods. So many out there so I am not sure which one is correct

You are never too old for the excitement of new life...especially with these babies.
There is excitement from the pop to the last whiff of smoke.

Well today is day 3 and no sprout yet. She`ll come up soon as the last seed took 3 days to pop out of soil. What does everyone think of my burping/curing question as well as type of soil to use.

Good Morning All and Happy Easter to you and your families. Well today is the 4th morning and no sprout from soil yet. When I planted her in the Solo cup she just had that little white tip that we all wait for. Hopefully she is not a dud and will pop any moment now.
