New pistil growth

Hello there,

I’m on week 6 of flower and noticed there’s new pistils forming. Is this a normal thing, maybe trying to finish? This is a GG #4 from i49 and it’s looking great, lots of bud sites, very dense as well. (Yes a little nute burn , I did back off and lowered and fixed the issue)

I've had this myself on odd strains it first happened when i was using mammoth p but I'm thinking you should be fine i even still add odd ones at harvest

Happens sometimes to me when the lights are too close & new growth starts. Wouldn't worry about it, as by the look of the plants you are only a few weeks from cropping anyway.

Oh yeah!!! Can’t wait, I have a total of 6 that are almost ready. Too excited

I say the more (sepals/trichomes/buds/THC) the better, whether this involves more new pistols or even foxtailing towards the end.

I ran into a small issue on one of my other one. I bought a soil pH meter and the pH was 5.7. So I adjusted my feedings for a higher pH of 6.8 for 2 feedings. Now the soil when up a few points and is around 6.3 & 6.4. That’s when I started to notice the new development on all the plants.
