New Grower New Grower Tangerine Dream

@FullAuto245 looking great! Your in the end game too man. Did you "mic the trichs"? How long you think you got left?
I checked them today Marie was 80-90% clear with a few cloudy and righty was still all clear. I’m not sure I’ll wait and listen to you guys for advice. I’m guessing 2-3 weeks?

@FullAuto245 My guess is 2 weeks. Not sure what your lower buds look like you might want to do a staged harvest. Sativas can be funny tho. Sometimes ambering can be a slow process. Being that tangerine dream from growers choice is 70 percent sativa Did you grow tangerine dream for that reason more of a daytime smoke? If so I would harvest when most are cloudy with a hint of amber. Or no amber at all.

That was pretty much the plan 20% Amber. I care more about potency and taste than daytime night time. I’ll be smoking my day time at night and vice versa lol.

Their are a number of different techniques I use to push along the last couple of weeks to get to harvest quicker! One good one is Stalk splitting I actually take a knife and at the base of the stalk I jab the knife through it and I insert a couple of tooth picks through the stalk to hold the opening. This harms the plant and causes it to heighten its natural defenses which causes it to speed up and actually increase its THC and Tric production which are the plants defenses Increases dark time in the last week will aslo aid in speeding up the plants finish. Now this is just from my research and these are not proven techniques but from my experience I find it to help me quite a bit indoors. Not everyone will agree with me on this and thats ok Im just saying it works for me.

Thanks for the info @Jc420bigbud! Thanks for dropping by as well!

@Jc420bigbud I've heard this before. Not saying it won't work and actually kinda interested. Not sure if I'll ever do it but even though it speeds the process up how does it effect the bud swelling? Does it just make them plant amber up quicker without letting the buds swell or does the buds swell just the same with the ambering. Just curious is all since trichome ambering is considered when the buds are afrer peak ripeness and you start losing potency because the thc is getting converted into cbn.
