Indoor New grow, roots organic vs kind soil

Nice Job @Ripper

Here's a :slap: for the knowledge gained from this journal.

My kind soil should be here this afternoon, and I'm going to give it a go!!!
Good clean water and not over watering is the key sir.. You will do great

I picked up some distilled water this morning to kick things off......although I found a home water distiller at a yard sale the other day that I might give a try...not sure though.

Do you plant seeds directly in the soil, or do you go into a rooter cube first??

Root cube I. The soil of the main pot I put a clear plastic cup over it... Works great

This is a great journal, Rip, esp for me the new bee! I am getting kind soil with the root trapper pot. Appreciate your help w/

can u elaborate more on how much you watered and how often?

Also, did u keep it in the 3 gallon pot from beginning to end?

Lastly, have u tried kind soil for non-auto strains? I read a grow journal for a anon-auto grower that claimed the roots stopped growing when hit the kind soil... never figured out why.

Thanks a bunch

I watered only when the plant needed it. Let the pot dry out. Not bone dry but not wet.. Don't go by just what you see on top cause it will still be wet in the middle and bottom of the pot.. Yes I started them in 3 gallon pots and that is where they finished.

I hav not grown any photos in it.

Thanks Ripper. Very helpful.

Wonder if a SWICK watering system will work well with Kind Soil set up?

Haven't tried it myself...may have the advantage of watering only what the plant needs, and avoiding overwatering.

Anyone has tried it?
