Calcium and magnesium are 2 completely different things. You may have a Calcium issue. You do not have a magnesium issue. You may have a calcium lockout which can not be addressed by adding g calcium. It can be a PH lockout or potassium antagonizing the calcium...
You need to provide a hell of a lot more information.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A CALMAG ISSUE!!!!!!! EVER! if someone happens to have a calcium and magnesium deficiency simultaneously well they probably have bigger issues. That said the calcium should be treated accordingly and the magnesium should be treated accordingly. CalMag LOL LOL LOL!

Not gonna lie this whole concept has been kicking my ass....but what you say makes sense I believe what I am perceiving as “calmag” (LOL) is lockout from the “potassium antagonization” that you mention....my microbes is like .6-.1-6 and I started while still in veg....I think this locked out Calcium from unnecessary amounts of K at that phase of growth....gonna use granular microbes with way less NPK ammended into the root zone instead of the hot water in concentrate microbes next time , nice post
