Mephisto Genetics New everything with Mephisto!

Sunday Afternoon means update time!! This grow is a serious mixed bag...
Come and witness what partial germination, then dry hot heat and then back to moist and warm does to quality genetics!
The NCH was popped directly into soil and is my favorite plant due to it's 3 leaves. The GWK runs tie for 1st!
The 3 Bears OG was germed and then planted into it's final pot as the initial bean had crossed wires and corkscrewed all over...
The Sour Livers is not looking too bad just small.
The Berry Bomb is the 3rd time I am growing it and the 3rd time it looks messed up again, will see what it decides to do!

Not much happens in the first few weeks until about week 3 and then the show will really start!

Room environment is:
24.5 Celsius
60% RH

Grape Walker Kush - Biggest plant out of the bunch and was one of the heat stressed seeds.

Tight node spacing!

Sour Livers looking good but small for now.

3 Bears OG

Northern Cheese Haze!!! She is beautifully unique!!

And a top view, just because!

And lastly the poor Berry Bomb...

And a group shot at the end of week 1!

Once they are a bit bigger and starting to show sex, I will fill the rest of the pot with fresh soil for a boost.
Not much else to report!

Nice grow. Very organized and great use of the space. That one big girl looks very happy there in the middle. What nutes you using?

I’ve been using MegaCrop 2.0 and some mammoth P during flower

If you think she was beautiful all the way back then you would just die if you saw her now

She's a big girl man if you could only clone autoflowers. Dina fem seems to always have big full plants.

A tip i learned When watering seedlings is to water around the very outside of the pot. This will force the roots to seek out the water and give you a faster and bigger growing root system early. Also it helps prevent the seedlings stem from getting woody from being wet all the time. And it helps the dryback period go faster wich the plants love and when you water the middle of the pot with a seedling it takes a long time for it to dry up wich causes alot of problems. But I'm prolly telling you somthing you already know lol. Am I right.

If you look at the last pic, you will see a ring of water around the seedlings and dry around the base of seedling.
If the soil around the seedling looks moist it is from misting only and not watering.
Thanks for the reminder though!!

Took a few quick pics tonight!
The first two are the oddities of the bunch! Weird leaves, curled leaves and the one is very dark green.
I do not want to jinx the original 3 Bears OG as it seems to be doing it's best to grow after having itself ripped from it's taproot. Very odd indeed, if it is still going on the weekend I will upload a pic.

Starting off with the Berry Bomb Auto...Poor girl looks a bit rough.

3 Bears OG has curled her first set of leaves, maybe hiding her real beauty? I hope so!! Kind of looks like a spider.

And my pride and joy!! I call her Trinity, from Matrix! It is so cool to have this mutation to watch as she develops.
@mephisto She is perfect!

Sweet. I do the same exact thing and I get way faster growth. Alot of people don't know that a woody stem restricts the flow of nutrients. You want a nice green soft stem for fast and easy flow of nutrients. Soils alot harder for me than coco. My coco coir regiment has alot of moving parts and alot of steps to do every day to keep them healthy but It gives me alot more control over every aspect and I'm a control freak so it's perfect for me.lol. Growing autos in soil is alot harder than photoperiods so when I see dudes like you growing in soil I gotta give ya props. Alot of people assume soil is the easiest way to grow and in some aspects it is but for me it was always a problem. Keep up the good work. I'll pop in and check them out when they are a little bigger. I'm curious to see how they come out.

I was greeted by a nice aroma when i entered the room tonight!
So early on in the grow as well! Instantly brought me back to all my previous grows and that smell just excites me! The smell of what is to come!!

Looking through the pics from a week ago and I am shocked as to how much a few of them have grown!
Sunday's update will be good!
:vibe:

Vaping on some Organic Purple Ice Cream Cake flower tonight. Very nice and mellow with banging trance in the background!

Sunday night update time!

Starting to have an aroma in the room and the GWK threw some pistils out already!
Also made one mod to the room and it has made a huge improvement, added a flap by the door to contain heat and humidity.
They were watered yesterday with R.O water , Thrive-Alive and some compost tea all additives at 1/4 or less strength.
Also added some EM-1 which are microbes for the soil.

The flap!

From a struggle at 60% to a quick and easy 70% with turning down the humidifier!

Grape Walker Kush, amazing lady!
