New coco blend

I’ve started mixing my own coco/castings/perlite at about 65-25-10 % ratio adding dry amendments, my photos have loved the switch, my autos have not. Is adding dry amendments to that mix prior to seedling stage making the coco too hot? It’s the only thing I can think of which would make the autos that unhappy and not affect the photos at all. Have been adding 4-4-4 gaia green dry amendments
