Hey there Glaucoma and others that have stopped by, I hope everyone is nicely baked :)

I have finished butchering and it is running but not really finished how it should be...
Two cuts and shove the fan into filter = win

It is not even sealed properly between the fan and filter and it works a charm, I can feel the air coming out the filter.
Maybe I will just put some tape on it to seal it :P

The 120mm computer fan has been recessed into the top, where the ducting currently goes down is where the other 120mm fan is meant to be. The 120mm fan can easily be turned around to suck or blow, currently it is sucking air from the top section and blowing it into the section with the scrubber.

So far the scrubber has not had any affect on my cabinet temps, it hovers around 25-27c with light off and up to 31-32c with the light on.
But having said that we have not had any hot days (30c+) since the scrubber arrived, we should get close to 40c early next week :P
That will be interesting to see how temps go.

Did some electrical crap on the cabinet today, ran some heavy duty cable up the right side of the cab, re-organized some other wiring while I was at it.
It dont really look like I did much but it was quite a task, all in preparation for the control panel that I will hopefully get done tomorrow.
I will be installing a digital timer and some other crap in there :)

Pic1 is the main power input cable for the cab (Scrubber remover)
Pic2 is the main power cable down the air hole (Scrubber removed)
Pic3 is the right side put back together after running the cable up the left.
Pic4 is the cable from below, it needs to be threaded through one of the back holes.
Pic5 is the top section before putting the ballast back in.
Pic6 is the top section with the ballast in.

So that's bugger all info for ya...sorry but I do not intend to show you how to electrocute yourself!

:smokebuds:

P.S. Please do not concern yourself with my electrical skills....a 10amp breaker and a thermostatically controlled switch that will power down my entire cabinet if a set temp is hit will be fitted. There, are ya happy now.....

Gotta go the chemist and get my pain killers....ran out yesterday morning and forgot to pick them up when I went to the hardware store.

And yes it is hot here....but at least the wiring is done now and I get a break from hackin shit up.

If you look closely in picture 1 you can see the power to the timer is OFF (middle switch), the 240v is shut off to the timer but it keeps on timing :) and since the HPS is currently on the Timing circuit the light now has no power. (the second pic is with the Timer ON that is why you see light)

The timer also has a rechargeable battery backup built in that will power the display and save settings for up to three months while disconected from the 240v. (Pff, sif the timer is ever gonna be turned off again....)
