what is the red area? is there and vents into it or complete isolation type chamber?

The red area is going to be the control section (electrics / timers etc), see post #16
However I am working on another design so that I can have the ballast in the center section but doing that reduces the size of the left compartment, but having that side smaller is no big deal as it will mainly be used for sexing the plants.
If all goes well the control section will be sealed, if it goes bad (heat buildup (which is unlikely)) then I have a solution ready to go....maybe.

The design has been changed and the center section removed, all because I was sent the wrong cooltube... for reasons beyond my control I am stuck with it now.
Anyhow here are a few pics of it so far.

Nearly completed....
The gray colored panel on the top left of the second picture will have the timers, switches and temp gauges (as in pic 3). Considering how long it took me to get this far I guess the panel will be finished sometime next year
P.S. I think I am going to replace the entire back as the silver crap bubbled up badly.

Good to see the update, Portmac. I saw someone else with a similar cab recently & it made me wonder what ever happened to yours. Looks great!
