Was thinking on using the 250 until starts to flower than introducing them to the 600 hps would this be ok i should think it shouldnt cause any kind of stress and would i get more from it if i introduced the 600 hps like next week
Thanks for the karma need all can get as riding it out for first time cheers guys
I start under my 600. I just put the light about 24" and let them grow up tell there about 16" away then I raise it keeping them about 16-18" tell finished. I have found that I need a fan blowing in the grow space or my pots get hot and over heat my soil even if the room stays cool due to the radiant heat the bulb gives off. I have an inline 6" fan cooling the light and to vent the grow space but if I don't have the other fan in the room moving air around it still over heats my pots.
Day 27 for these 3 nothing really to report pretty straight forward startin to bud up bext 10 days will be exciting to watch the grew about 2 inches in 5-7 days
Fedding schedule is as following
8l prepared
12ml coco a 12ml coco b
8ml dutch pro take root
8ml buddhas tree meta boost
Was watering one week apart then 5 days then 4 days and it was waterd today after 3 days should it be more frequent as it goes into flowering
2 are measuring over a foot while the one that remaind smallest is hust under a foot
Started to smell in tent before any hairs where showing like a sweet sugary smell almost like cotton candy and cabbage mixed hahah
600hps will be getting added in the next 10 days or so
Also i have buddhas tree pk 9/18 when would be the best time to add the flowering nutes?
Hey @Sharpsthc .reading thru your journal I might have missed it but I didn't see any cal mag being added, you are in coco so it needs extra anyway, but it looks as though the 600 watt lamp is requiring the plant to use more nutes( which may be causing a deficiency if you didn't increase with the higher wattage) I have had this same problem at around the same time period as your plants, and this is what it was on my plants...again these are just my thoughts..Peace..edit:added info..ill post a pic tonight
My bad ,you haven't added the 600watt yet ..double check your nute strengths and final ppm ,also coco needs to be watered more frequently...oh should be in the 5.8-6.0 range, but you prolly already know these things...peace
