Need soil advice...help!!!

I bought the stuff cause I heard it mentioned alot.and I'm using natural spring water with perfect pH and ppm of 200 with superthrive added. Also I ordered a aquatic reverse osmosis that hooks up to hose or laundry faucet it was way cheaper. Hope it will work. It can be for drinking water to.arrives today along with more seeds and I'm ordering more through north Atlantic 420 fastbuds.also I got another dehumidifier just in case I need 2.

K Tatts....you've mentioned Cal-Mag a couple times........What is your water that your using?....city tap, well tap, RO, distilled?......water quality plays a good part of it.....RO and distilled is about as pure, nothing in it as you can get. That way you know everything that is in it when you give it to your plants.....city tap may have chlorine and chloromides in it so got to let it sit out for 24 hrs or so to let it evaporate out.......well tap (which is mine) can play merry hobbs with your grow if you don't know your aquifer system......mine is limestone aquifer adding a lot of Calcium plus I was using Cal-Mag........MoG pointed it out to me so I switched to store bought RO/distlled and put the Cal-Mag on a back shelf to never see the light od day again.......saved that grow.....the Happy Frog and Dr. Earth should have some so you might not need to add any more in your feeding......just gonna have to wait and watch......
Ok cool I won't.

I ordered the cal-mag cause it seemed like alot of people used it during my research of things I might need. And I ordered 3 stage reverse osmosis system it's aquatic or drinking it's portable and hooks up to faucet I figured that would work. It way cheaper.

I confirmed in an Email with Rocket seeds yesterday........
As per company policy, we do not give out any growing advice. However, we have seen that in the 1st 3 weeks, the plants perform best in soil that does not contain any nutrients or fertilizers for the first 3 weeks, the reason for that being that during that time the plants are sensitive and are unable to process the nutrients.

:nono: pffff! They need to keep their own counsel on that advise thing, what a steaming load of BS that is! .... Roots get to work right away, the cotyledons only have enough for a week or so... Sensitive, yes, hence the milder starter soil,....but not devoid of nutrients for 3 weeks! ...Runt-O-Matic....
You ever use dolomite lime my happy frog soil is 5.2 and I have dry dolomite lime and it say 1lb cover 100sq ft trying to figure out how to add to soil or should I crush and put in water❓
Holy crap, that figures! That's way too acidic, typical FuxFarms dogshit soil... :nono: ...high pH is from poorly cooked soil, so common with them...
Is the dolomite granular or a fine powder-like form? Finer it is, the faster it works, but it will not correct the soil pH right away...
What brand is it? Usually it's about 1-2 T/gal soil, but that can vary a lot depending on brands...
How did you test the soil pH, doing a slurry test?
Have you planted into the final pots yet? If not, then add the dolo' into it now....
I'd like to see that soil corrected in pH BEFORE you plant into it... Alternatively, setting up the pots with soil and doing a higher pH water flush will help drive the pH up. If you go this route let me know, I'll get more details to you...
Then you can amend with the 4-4-4 and dolo'.....

Thanks but I already fucked up and planted them. They seem to be doing better than they were in the stater pots I had them in. I did a slurry test. The brand of dolomite I have is cz and it granules. I added a table stoop around the outer layer of top soil few inches deep. Also feed them dr.earth and superthrive less than half of what was recommended. But I'm going to build 3 more pots today for those other seeds. Let's pray they pop and are the real deal. I should of went through north Atlantic I'm getting fastbuds 6 dif strains.thsnks for the advice....tell me what you I no I messed up I'll learn.

With the 200 ppm and what's in the HF and whatever is in your Dr Earth's you might have enough calcium....

Nute wise I can buy off Amazon ❓all I have is dr.earth veg, gold, and bloom. Superthrive and cal-mag, and dolomite, apple cider just in case.the website said it can't hurt to add dolomite cause it has a 7 pH.
