uhhhh lol mulitiple choice, well ive done many of these things, mostly within organics but much the same or similar results.if its under watered or too dry a soil your going to use a surfactant n water slowly n thoroughly like you do with you smart pot or even an air pot(I personally prefer dirt pots from hydrofarm but both work awesome)....."AFN smoke out"works really really well actually.and they typically need less water because they have more soil not drying out as fast or as completely from my dealings.that'll change soon as it gets a lot bigger and the roots stretch n thats also when a surfactant comes into play for great drainage and coverage of a rooted or over dried soil.

n that would be B and C right Mrs W? lol add cal mag to the distilled or Ro but its just bubble it n add a cpl drops of cal mag if needed n there ya go.no chloramines in the water i presuuuume?lmao!

just a little plant update from yesterday

i figure, I got the pictures, why not post em lol

As Waira would say, Stilts is crowning nicely. hahahaha.....THE BABY IS CROWNING, I CAN SEE THE HEAD!! ITS STRETCHED YOUR VAGINA HOLE OPEN WIDE ENOUGH FOR THE SHORT BUS TO DRIVE THROUGH. AHHHHHHHHHH, nope. no kids for mz w, lmao. I really feel that with the exception of the time I over watered her, she just hasn't had enough water over the course of her life. I mean...I get it. Genetics, phenos and blah blah blah. But this plant is just about the same size in a 5 gallon pot as she was in a 1.5 gallon pot. It just...doesnt seem...right

Every day that passes, Teeny blows me away. She needs a new name because Teeny just doesn't fit anymore lol.
I'll call her.....Faith....cause you never know what will happen, but if you have a little Faith, this will -
IMG_20150219_222735.jpg and this picture doesnt even really do her bushy-ness justice lol

:roflcry:

here's one that kinda shows her off, IMG_20150219_224104.jpg
OH! the white circle? That is a fucking cubicle clip lol so it's just a normal clip to hang stuff but its got these enormous (ok, maybe they're not enormous lol) spikes coming off the back of it. so you can slide the spikes into the fabric of the pot and then clip the string down. genius, lol

I love how in that first picture, you can see her pistils slowly changing :)

I'm getting rid of ....er i mean...growing the last of the seeds from my first order lol
so I have one sweet seeds FastBud and 2 dr. green seeds critical+.
but once they are done ive got some exciting new ones to try...lets see, we got -

mephisto genetics sour bubbly, lowlife auto double diesel, cOTc amphetamine, blimburn AK automatic and sweet seeds ice cool..so you'll have to hang out for them too lol :)

Nice! and according to the nicknames, which is which? :p

Haha! dats alot of strains ma'm. The names people give their shit these days... cracks me up.
Won't miss it!

so, im second guessing myself, as per my M.O lol But this is how my brain works...I don't fight it, I just let it flow. You should probably follow suit lol

Of course this is about whether I have or have not under-watered stilts.
Whats making me second guess myself, you wonder? Well here, allow me to enlighten you ;P lol

In my head I started thinking about how FB will yield this time around. Which in turn made me think about the whole 'gram per meter squared' thing. Which for whatever reason, made me think about Stilts. Which made me think about Dr Green Seeds. And thats when it reached out and punched me..POW! RIGHT IN THE KISSER! lol I remembered reading something on the Dr. Green Seeds site back when I did the first Critical+ grow.

Use a photoperiod of 12-14-16 hours of light for faster results (OUR BEST RESULTS WERE OBTAINED WITH 12/12 and 14/10 PHOTOPERIODS). If you leave it at 18 hours, you will have to stop feeding with growth fertiliser after two weeks and force the plant of Marijuana to flower, leaving it in darkness for 24–48 hours and then resuming the photoperiod. In any case, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING OUR AUTO-FLOWERING VARIETIES (Dr. Green Seeds) WITH PHOTOPERIODS OF OVER 16 HOURS, AS THE PLANTS WILL TAKE A LONG TIME TO END THE PROCESS, TENDING TO GROW TO A HUGE SIZE AND RISKING GROWING BEYOND THE GROWER’S CONTROL.

The first time, we did turn the lights to 12/12...but this time they've remained at 18/6 the entire time (I thought K switched it to 20/4 but he in fact, did not lol). According to this, leaving it at 18 hours I have would've had to stop feeding grow nutes and leave the plant in darkness, in order to get it to flower. Now...forgive me if this is, well...retarded, lol but I did none of those things, just left it at 18/6 and....its....flowering? lol Am I incorrect here?

As far as the water shortage, why not melt some snow?

So, I've got two legitimate questions lol

I'm sure many of you have either personally over watered your plants, or known someone who has...pretty solid assumption I would say, right?
Right.
So...have you ever/or/have you helped someone who, under watered their plants? If so, what did you do/recommend and what was the outcome?

Here's what I mean.

I was watering the plants, what...day before last I guess? Either way.
I started thinking about the last time I grew fast bud.
So last time, she was in a 2gal smart pot, and this time around shes got an extra gallon of soil..
But I can remember a period of time, where I would give FB almost if not a full gallon of water. And yes, I'm well aware of the fact that manyother factors come into play when we're talking about watering the plants...but stick with me, lol.

So on every grow, I've been terrified of drowning them when they're still tiny babies...and I  that fear has caused some under watering on my part. I first came to this conclusion, when I struggled to go through a gallon of water...last night...between all 3 plants. So is it possible that the 'environmental factors' are the reason I wasnt watering as much? Sure, its possible. But I'm leaning more toward my paranoia of over watering causing me to under water. I mean....I have a bigger plant of a strain i've grown previously, in more soil..but isn't getting nearly as much water as its prior counterpart. My common sense is saying to me, that that cannot be right, since the environmental differences haven't been that drastic.

Which brings me to part 2 of our saga which is - Hypothetically

Mary Jane checks on her plants when they wake up and she notices they need water. Only then, did she realize she is out of tap water that has set out long enough.
if you HAD to pickwould you:

A.)
Go ahead and water them with the fresh tap water. Giving them fresh tap water just once isn't going to hurt them that bad....right?

B.)
Don't water until your tap water has had a chance to set out for at least 24 hours, and once you have the necessary water (be it tap water that has sat out or distilled from the store) then go ahead and water...and water plenty since they're likely bone dry.

C.)
Mz. W. WTF is this? We are NOT in grade school, fuck your multiple choice questions.

:slap:
+rep to zee best answer(s)!

::EDIT::
oh right. also leading me to believe I'm probably not watering enough, is, Stilts is in a 5gal pot..and shes small by comparison to the way she was when she was a newborn. She's barely 12", and I honestly dont know that shes gained any height in 2 or 3 days so,

A, B, and C. Just depends on what day you catch me on! LOL!

yo, real wrap though, I had to go pick up my new glasses from the eye doc. yesterday, and I walked out the front door into...like...the blizzard of '95 lol wtf STOP SNOWING DAMMIT!

My sump is not producing (too cold) so I did use some FRESH snow (frozen rain right). The plants love it but it's wicked alkaline so you have to lower the PH a bit...

PS Don't eat yellow snow... Ha ha!

RS :Flaming Snow..:
