Good luck with the next generation.
Cheers @tobe really glad to have you along in here too. Ive always admired your work so its an honor to have you in here.

Heres a better shot of what we have up. There were 11 seeds started 8 germed right away..i was bummed it wasnt 100% but i threw the seed in soil anyway. Well the last 3 came up...so that is why you see 2 in a few pots as this was ment to be a single plant per pot grow to show off the biotabs. Life sometimes has a way.

So i thought that i had seen the last of the F1...until i went and assisted a friend in his garden tonight. He had saved some pollen from the first run that produced the hash bat and wanted to hit this specific female with that pollen. This is the last living ALF [HASHTAG]#5[/HASHTAG] F1 super sati leaning and that is his wheel house.

Shit are you kidding me, the fact that I have the both of you here is outstanding to me. Have at it it's about sharing and learning right?

Just so you know @StickMan your Harley is so next on my list. I just don't want the risk right now before the potential move. If all goes to plan she'll be beside the black selection girls.

And all you guys growing the ALF. @stepside @Duggy @Waximus the beans are HARD. some of the toughest seed I've seen to date especially indoor. These seed act like they were bred in the desert.

I've had to assist a few recently. All germinated but the seed shuck was exceptionally hard.
can I get an explanation on the assist ... cause my straw berry looked like it wanted to pop but couldn't open, if that makes sense .. I got one left and I may need this trick...

Sure,

Sometimes ill get a seed or two that will stay on the seedling. They can kill it too, now its not something that happens a lot but it can happen. I dont usually worry about it much as i have a decent seed stock over here but i still dont like to loose a seedling, hell i couldnt kill off germ test seed....

The seed will almost look like its ready to open all the way but its stuck on a "hinge" what i do its wet the seed and wait a few seconds, i have a pair of reverse loaded tweezers. The kind that you have to press to open and they auto go back to close. Ill grad the one side of the open seed and then with a fingernail catch the tip of the other side. Open it up and it should be fine. Just be careful you can take the head right off too lol..
