Thanks clyde...I use 2 x 400.
I usually only run one strain per tub, but sometimes I have had two, due to testing. I top dress my soil with worm castings, peat moss, epsoma Plant tone, blood and bone. I mix fish poop and guano's with water.
Thanks for stopping by!
Very Very nice grow, I'm sure you have your method locked down but I'm somewhat of a Phenom when it comes to Indoor Organic growing. My tips are simple and if your on a budget and want it as low impact on your body as possible I have come up with a battle plan. Just try this on 1 container and watch the difference.
Ok so Get a new container and Add cow Manure (free range) to the bottom at 1 cup per gal container size.
Mix this lightly with soil and add more of your 7 year soil to the halfway mark.
Take old dried banana, few orange, apple pits, ground up leaves at 1/2 cup and greensand (about 8table spoons) fill the rest of your container up and right before you finish up the last 8 inches or so sprinkle Blood meal (use no more than .5 tsp per gal of soil mix) I do the last part by experienced eye but less is best.
Now fill the rest up.
Water it with correct NONE CHLORINE WATER (Chloromine is a new form of chlorine that is stupid hard to get out, you need a R/O with a Chlorine filter ($60-100 bucks) or the Chlorine filter , mines the Glacier model, ran $73 out the door. Awesome little dude. Now I also have 3500 Full water filter system, but that's a different story lol.
Now as far as your tea goes the above mentioned is great but instead of mixing Bird Guano into the tea try adding it in the middle layer of the container as a whole. I use Molasses and worm castings bubbled (Petco aquarium pump and simple airstone will run what 30 bucks?) with Bonemeal/Bat guano added for bloom and Fish poo for Veg (strained because of the worm castings... I used to use a stocking lol). I only use tea Once a week and plain water the rest of the time.
You should see a Significant increase in yield and vigor.
You can also PH balance your water with .5tsp Apple Cider Vinegar per gal of water to a perfect 6.5-6.6 which will decrease chance of nute locks as Tap water does have Calcium and Mag already in at as well as zinc and copper (Important micro's many people forget) ESPECIALLY if your growing a Blueberry strain (I have grown 4 different cuts and breeds) like Bluedream (True BD is a Cali only strain lol sorry), Skywalker, Blueberry, Blueberry Kush, ect you will run into Mag and Sulfur deficiencies rather easy.
I think that about covers it.
So a recap is good filtered water is key, less is more with teas as you have to remember the older your soil is the more balanced it becomes. Let the SOIL feed the plant not you.
I use LST and T5/HPS mix but w/e works best for you is fine.
I also "Mist" my plants every "morning" (before lights come on) and at dusk(right as they are powered off). This creates what in nature would happen and they seem to love it. So long as your air circulation is good no bud rot or Powdermold will grow. Oh and on that note Switch from spray to hard rinse once a week. Plants do breath and spraying off leaves with a steady stream of water will also help respiration and Photosynthesis.
Oh yea as a added stray (I loovveee foliars) Use 1 drop of plain liquid dishsoap with 2tsp of neem oil (like 20 bucks) once every 3 days to keep a nice healthy shine and pests away. It also helps with less water leaving through leaves in high temps as will as adds N.
Now I use like 4 different sprays including one with Humic acid/Rhinoskin(both @ 1tsp per 40oz) mix, one plain water(mist and rinse offs), 1 neem (1 drop of soap+ 2tsp Neem per 40oz), and lastly 1 new one I just got and trying for my grow, but I only feed it once a week so I wont mention it.
wow sorry this was so long maybe some Other Organic peeps will find this useful. I have tried a 1000 different ways to grow and will prob try 1000 different more, but this thus far is the basic Organic build that's fairly cheap and pretty simple even though it sounds complex. I mean I only water with tea 1nce a week, foliage swap every other day and water plain water in between. Its not rocket science, but Makes A HUGE difference.
