Indoor my hempy experience

Hello guys,

as I am learning through my runs, I wanna go to totally KISS.
So in consequence I'll go with my hempy construction that already did so well with the white cheese. Only the really stinky water in the end was a thing I wanne do better this time...gotta leave it dry out more often.

I wanted to start over with some Blueberries, but out of 3 only one came out of her shell.
So I added some rqs white widow autos for some indica influence, which will now be complementing the grow (one did'nt germ as well, so theres another in the queue).

So heres how it all starts

bb in the back, ww in the frontrow. I had some flies in there because the star ryder is overdue and they seem to like it, so I have to put some yellow-glue tables in there (don't know the english word for them)

So lets have some fun the next 80 Days

What is the size of your buckets? Small one and big one... and do you think the air pot does any different here? I really cant see how it would make any different.. my mind is telling my that your two buckets is stoping any air-flow.

And if i got the idea right the bigger bucket is just there for collecting run off water when you are not at home, right?

Do you have any log from your first grow mate?

I like this self watering hempys

I love hempy but i would be nice to be able to leave the house for more then 2 days sometime...lol

Hi,

the first time I used this thingy was in my star ryder experience where it was a home for a white cheese - which turned out to be the second best yielder in the tent

The airpots are 15l a little bit less because i had to squeeze them a bit to get them into th inner bucket (around 17l) the outer ones are about 25l I guess. I didn't attach the bottom net.
I never tested the actual size, because they are originally made to contain soup and sauce concentrates and the "volume" is given in kilos of that stuff.
And yes, the outer bucket is to catch the runoff and holds a pump to re-feed it via the dripper.

When I finished the white cheese I did look at the roots very closely because I wanted to know if the airpot is a good addition, and I observed the exactly same root growth like they promote in soil..so I would say YES, they do their job.

But well, I have to see this grow if they really work out and the first try wasn't just a lucky run. If I match the yield of this run, or a little less I think they work out...but I don't know what to expect from those rqs auto white widows.
