New Grower My first grow

Looking very well in there! If you're following a feed chart, be careful ramping up to full dose. Those charts are typically for photoperiods and an auto can take from 50-80% and do very well. It's easier to add than subtract.
Yes! The chart says photoperiod and has light med heavy schedule depending on pot size, medium etc. I’m currently going medium on the short side because as you say I can always go up. That’s what I mean by full nutes as opposed to half that on days 3&4. Much appreciated

Journal Day 6

Everyone is green and upright and healthy. I’m amazed at growth in the second week and that these plants are only 7 days apart! No environment changes to speak of today, just fed to runoff. I’ll be counting nodes soon for topping and that’s just crazy to me. Peace

Journal day 8…8 and 15 days old

Begin week 2 and 3 of nute schedule and adding Armor Si and a smidge of CalMag to the mix. Dropped max temp/RH to 76/60. Light still dimmed at 60% at about 32” with ppfd at 535-550 back row and 590-605 in the front. Not that I would know better but I don’t see them complaining yet about something so I’ll keep at it. Im stoked at the growth I see every day, I need to find out if I count the first single finger leaves as a node? If so the 5th level is on the way and I will be topping soon. Which is still crazy to me! What a fast growing plant! Peace

Thank you! I came back in to remind anybody who’s reading that I’m armed only with knowledge from you growers on this site and a bit of common sense. I figure googling just leads to MORE opinions so I don’t think I’ll find it useful to stray outside of here. Very nice vibe in this forum, feels like home. Whether the common sense works or not remains to be seen but I welcome any advice big or small along the way. I read the new growers forums and journals and a lot of my questions were answered already but I generalize it to fit my situation so any info along the way is appreciated. Plus I could talk in general about growing day and night now! Best hobby ever and I have SO much to learn. Thanks again! Peace

Journal Day 9

The outside temperature is rising from a beautiful 66 average the last couple weeks to 77 today. 73-71 forecast this week so I have my in-room AC on low to combat higher tent temp with the exhaust fan. I figure I’m raising my light power soonish so I need to get cooler air sucked into the tent anyhow. Intake opening is floor level screen and exhaust in opposite corner ceiling and dropped auto fan speed from 6 to 4. Seems to work well since cooler air is dropping humidity a smidge.

The plants drooped for the first time a bit after watering but recovered pretty quickly. I’ve read that’s natural but it got me thinking and I raised the pole fan from near floor up to level of the pots themselves in hopes it will help “air out” the pots. I think I should’ve been doing this from the beginning. Also decided to try dropping humidity for a while right after watering thinking maybe the plant will draw more moisture from the pot rather than the air. We’ll see, the fun is in the learning ESPECIALLY if I can let the plant teach me the most.

Inadvertently I’m discovering that just hanging my plants in my grow room will work great for drying as I am getting a room temp/RHof 64/50 and I think that will work with a fan also blowing on them. Man how cool is it gonna be to be faced with the decision of where to dry my homegrown buds? Most cool I say! Peace
