New Grower My first grow, need overlooking

You have cob lights , so I would add some now .

Is this a thing? This is the second time ive heard of led or cob with calmag associated. I hypothetically use 2 low power leds. Ive not seen amything to say calcium or magneaium issues (ffof/cocloco medium). Should i also look out for this and why?

LEDs can cause a plant to have different mineral requirements than HID lights or even fluorescence. You would be surprised at how many times I've seen really odd deficiencies on top of a plant and all grower had to do was raise his lights to make the deficiencies go away. One thing that seems to be Universal though is the very first symptom of photo inhibition with plants is Calcium deficiency. If it occurs all over the plant it's usually just a general need for calcium, if it occurs on the upper leaves it's often the LEDs being too close.

That said there are times when it's desirable to have your LEDs to close. You can slow down or shorten a plants stretch if you don't have them vertical room. Or late in flower when you're really want to get those lower buds as dense as possible you defoliate and lower your lights down low. What that usually does is give you a very ugly plant on top the leaves will just crackle and look like crap but you get much denser buds down below.

It's perfectly okay not to use Cal Mag until you see deficiencies, but I found it's best to just get used to using it so I keep my other nutrient levels in line with the amount of Cal Mag that I use. Most Cal Mag has nitrogen, so you'll end up lowering grow nutrients or nutrients that have significant nitrogen as you raise your Cal Mag.

looking good  all charts are for photoperiods, veg is before 12/12 flip, flower is after flip.auto growers use/adapt others charts that have been before them,or they make their own up/wing it or constantly play about.....the real smart look and read what the plants need and feed only just enough of what it needs.some just throw things at the plant and hope for the best.take and keep good notes.just a bit of bad luck you picked nutes that we cant find others using them, but that not holding you back plants happy and healthy.
