You could always tuck the seedlings off to the side and out of direct light. The light fall off might be enough to drop the intensity a little bit.

Check out the PAR map Dr. Coco did of an SP3000 in a 4x2 and you'll see there aren't places that don't have direct light. ;) That's generally a good thing, but perhaps a bit of a challenge when I'm trying to care for impending brand new seedlings at the same time my first plant is approaching veg. I'll be fine. I'll just lift the light a bit on their end for a few days I think.

Yes there is definitely a drop off of almost 200 ppfd which is a big difference. I think that putting the seedlings at the edge would be fine

Awesome, thanks!

Your babies will tell you when the light is to bright and for seedlings i'd put them in a corner like others said. I fear what you are doing by having different stage grows in 1 tent but there is always a way.
You know you like this hobby enough to buy another tent and light setup (i know i do) go on do it haha.

Hopefully there will only be 10 or 11 days difference between them. Certainly that’s manageable. I guess I’m about to find out!

Yeah they should be fine with 10 days apart. You can always add stuff under the younger plants pots to get them up to where they need to be later when they need more light and for now you can get those cool drink umbrellas lol kidding, try cutting cardboard flaps and making sun sails or tiny umbrellas in a corners for the babies while big momma sits in the middle of the light, just spit balling ideas :cooldance:

Actually, I’ve raised Violet up a number of inches and raised the light accordingly, so now my germinating pots are not only in the corners, but also lower from the light. I think that should do it.
