Were you smoking when you cleaned the basement. For some reason I get a lot of random things accomplished when i am High, except college level math ( I mean f-me running). Im guessing you did a smoke report. I am going to take a look. But looking good as always.

CC Day 102 BDM Day 75
Lights were off, must have bumped the timer, temp a bit low too, must be the new location. Everything (I could see anyway) looked good, the smell was indeed strong in my tarp built room and less in the house. I have a gallon of Ona gel on the way I will make a second bucket. I am also going to get another filter. I will put it on the output of the fan, that should be enough to neutralize it finally. And just in time too as harvest is coming!
Hey Panic, no I was not... For now I am reserving that for weekend nights, Fri. and Sat. maybe a Sat AM wake and bake. Stuff is potent too, no lie!! Easing my way back into it ya know. I did a bit of a report in my journal here. Saving the official smoke report for after harvest when things have dried and cured properly and I have used it a few more times. At least that way I can say, or should be able to say, something other than, "wow man I am really f***ed up dude!" (well I guess I wouldn't mind that either!!)

Im glad you're finished with your move. I would have bet that plant was potent. Im worried cause I have that second plant that is already almost as big as elwood. Elwood didn't smell, I hope I don't end up having a scent issue; seeing what you had to go through. What camera are you using?

Good morning gardeners! Another fine day in the tent. Things are going well planning on feeding and watering this afternoon. If all goes well I will be moving the tent to another part of the basement. Hopefully that will alleviate some of the odor issues.
In the meantime here are some micrographs of a bud I trimmed from BDM to examine now and taste next week.

Alright, now where the hell did you get a great magnifier such as this?? Let em in on the secret! I bought a digital magnifier and it is shit. I also have a jewelers loupe to check out the sugar but it isn't enough to check them that close.

Odor almost zero! (we'll see if it passes the wife test in the morning) After I moved everything and built the little tarp "room" around my tent the odor became very strong in that area. I purchased another carbon filter and connected it to the output side of my fan. This seems to be working. Those stinky girls of mine blew right through a 6in. flange x 14in. long filter!! Oh man! I added one just like it, so I guess my effective filter is 28in. now. At any rate it is working and I hope my wife's sensitive nose won't notice it in the morning. Whoa, I will be sooo happy if this is the case!
Garden is doing well getting close to harvest, need to get a good close up of the trichomes to be sure, things are still pretty green, but they are starting to look done!
Hey there Panic, ya I hope you don't get a visit from the stinky elves, it was a project for sure!! The camera is a Nikon D70, most times I am using a 55-200 5.6 lens and a couple of flashes. Today I had the on camera, one in a white umbrella, and one on the floor facing up for most of the shots. I love messing with lighting. Really makes the shot.
Hey MJA, I am using a Celestron USB microscope. They go for about $40.00 on Amazon. A real PITA to use but you see the results! I find it best to trim a bit so you can manipulate the scope better or at least easier.
As promised some photos. Damn if CC is going purple! Or at least a bit red. The pictures in the catalog don't look like that. But as an aside I did read this tidbit "and in the final stage carbon filters must be used, as the smell can become uncontrollable." Well that get's my vote as understatement of the year!! Anyways here she is!
And then there is BDM. Words just won't do so here she is!!!

You'll like the scope, like I said a bit fiddly but does the job. I got it to check my SMD soldering; those 32 pin MQFP and 603s could be a bear to find bad or bridged joints on!

WooHoo, it passed the wife test. There was no odor this morning. I learned something about fan and filter sizing and the fact that if you think the stuff smells and you have it under control, there's always a stronger smelling plant out there to prove that you don't!
Looking good althi=ought I put the thermostat to high, it is hard to accurately adjust.
Edit: recalculated Days for BDM...

Snow day!
Man 58yo and still getting a giggle out of an unexpected day off! Shoveled twice already though and expect a good couple inches more yet to come down. So I checked my drying budlet from BDM and there was enough dried bits. Mmmm fun. Different, more to the body. I am getting a bit more used to it as well. Although three tiny hits and... Got me in the mood to goof with the microscope some more.
This is what I made.
