Weird question... sorry if its noobish. But why do you want your soil ph at 5.5? I guess I just assumed you wanted a soil ph of 6.5..

I think muddy uses pro mix which is classed as soil less and you run with a hydro ph

I had originally intended this grow to be an experiment to settle the question of which is the best pH to run for soil less mixes like Pro Mix. There has been some debate if hydro pH levels should be used or a slightly lower soil level. My plan was to run about 5.5 during veg, then 5.8 in flower. However my pH went too low in the beginning, down to about 5.2, which resulted in a little stunting. I over shot on my adjustments and ended up at about 6.2 so just finished out the grow maintaining it at that level.
