Mosca Seeds

Looks great!

Thanks, they have been a joy to grow! Looking forward to popping em again once I get a few more grows under my belt and I actually start to know what I'm doing. I am also pretty interested in their Blue Hindu and the new West Coast OG and Cantaloupe Kush strains.

Hey all, I just finished my first grow with the Pina Coladas and figured I would put some info about my grow here.

Space: 20x20x48 tent in a closet with a relatively high ceiling
Containers: 3 gallon vivosun heavy duty fabric pot, 2 gallon smart pot
Light: Mars Hydro TS1000 for most of their lives, BudgetLED Series 3+ Full Spec for the last 3-4 weeks
Medium: Nectar for the Gods #4 soil ammended with OneShot
Nutrients:
Nectar for the Gods (used a mix between the Spartan and Greek regimens)
SLF100
MicrobeLife Photo+
Cultured Biologix EZTeas
Plants:
Pina #1 - "Bertha" - in the 3 gallon
Pina #2 - "Cassidy" in the 2 gallon
Chop Day:
Bertha @ 91
Cassidy @ 87
Harvest:
Bertha 90g
Cassidy 127g
Other thoughts:
This being my first grow, I am VERY happy with the results! These girls took whatever I threw at them and survived all my mistakes, up to and including: not having a working pH pen for the first 2 weeks, over/under-watering, training too early (I think), snapping Cassidy's main cola while LSTing (fixed it up with some tape), fiddling around with light levels/heights, forgetting the humidifier was turned up all night so it got to 99% humidity, and much more. They took it all and gave me a pretty great harvest (in my humble opinion). I was really only expecting to get an oz or so a plant going into this whole thing, two if I was lucky.

Each plant grew pretty differently, Bertha started off really small with dark leaves and lots of branches. She remained pretty small until the flower stretch. During the flower stretch she grew a bit started growing really chunky, but leafy, flowers. Cassidy, also remained pretty small, but had smaller lighter leaves, grew into nicer and more maintainable shape, and had a lot less leafy buds than Bertha, but she wasnt as chunky. I forgot to measure the height, but I would say they were about 12in tall, give or take, with Bertha being a few inches taller. I also probably could have let them grow for another week or so as there were not much amber trichs, but I will be out of town for a week at the end of the month and wanted time to dry and sweat.

Despite growing pretty differently, they both smelled the same throughout the grow, reacted to nutrients similarly, faded to the same colors, and had similar looking buds. The smell started off really sour, got pineappley after a while, and ended with smells of sour pineapple, lemon pledge, and hints of other sweet things (coconut maybe??). After drying for a week, they smell more sour than anything.

I am very surprised at the harvest weights, it looked like Bertha was a lot chunkier and would weigh a lot more. I think its because her buds were a lot leafier and a bit less dense than Cassidy's, and the amount of undeveloped buds she had. I didn't spread her branches enough so there were a lots of bud sites that were not getting enough light and were actually touching! I am surprised I did not get any mold or bud rot.

I have been testing out a jar of about 20g of popcorn buds from Bertha the past few days or so. It tastes sour and sweet when vaping, but I can't taste much while smoking. I am not great at describing highs, but it gives me a relaxing body high and makes my head float. It is already better than most street/dispo bud I have been seeing for the past few years!

I switched the plants around halfway through the grow, Cassidy is in the black pot, Bertha in the tan.

Nice man. Isn’t smoking your own herb the best? Dispensary weed pales in comparison. Over 200 grams in a 2x2 is a nice yield! A lot of bang for your buck in a compact space.

It really is unbelievable that I am using something that I grew, I absolutely love it! Thanks! There is honestly a decent amount popcorn and larf, but I grew it, and the popcorn buds im toking on now are pretty good!

Also, I just realized I havent taken a picture of all the buds in a single place (don't mind the cat hairs or my trim job....)!

Looks like nice herb man! I’m curious how those Grove Bags perform. You’ll have to post a follow up in a month or two if there is any noticeable difference between the jars and bag.

Got the Strawberry Guava from them a few weeks ago. My friend has one that is a couple of weeks old that he is running.
Have you popped them? I just grabbed Frosted Guava myself and am going to run it next cycle.

I wanna try kushy chem auto..
But there is no Eu vendor of mosca seeds..
