I have a plan and a method ive used a hundred times. Im just growing rhem as low as possible to get them ready for the net. I work with very limited headroom and do things different than most i guess.

Day20 New
The girls got a little haircut to give the lowers light and help airflow. Theyre just growing amd doing their thing! SLIC is pretty easy to manipulate and is alot strtchier than i was expecting but i like that. The Blue Zushi is super vigorous, bushy and tight noded. It will be a cool contrast between the two! The Slic has 4 and 6 fingered leaves, and the Blue Zushi is putting iut some 6 fingered leaves as well. Dont know where i heard they were rare, but i come across them quite often. I took all the leaves facing inward or shading new growth. Now that they are picking up pace in veg i will probably drop the screen/net in a week ro so.

Day26 New
The girls are vegging hard, right on time! The SLIC seems to have caught up to the Blue Zushi. I love diversity in my gardens, and these two are growing like polar opposites! The SLIC is Lanky with more space between the nodes, and the branches amd main stem are very flexible. The Blue Zushi is very tight nodes and the branches are much more robust and sturdy. You cant see because the foliage is so thick now, but ive been using garden staples to train them out after i tied the tops down. I will release all that when i drop the screen. They both smell of strong dankness already just in veg. Soon they will get a heavy defoliation, lollipopped slightly and the screen dropped. They will also get their first real feeding when they need water next, probably tonight as they are going on 4wks plain water. Botanicare Silica Blast at 25% Fox Farm soil trio at 50%, GreenLeaf Sea-k at 25%, and molasses at 1/2tsp per gal. ph’d at 6.0-6.5. They should like that! Temps and RH are good at 80-84f and 45-55% rh. I Will flip to 12/12 when the screen is about 90% full.

Day27 New
This is what they look like after a first defoliation. Early training, the tops have been tied and kept down for about two weeks now, the branches have been stretched and pinned with garden staples and left each branch with a couple true leaves aside from the new growth. This should really encourage secondary growth and just more bud sites in general. They were both fed today for the first time, same as mentioned above. SLIC and Blue Zushi! These genetics really help in Making it look easy!

Day27 New
Ended up dropping the screen amd pulling the staples this morning. Figure ill start now, I plan on flipping when the screen is just about full, neither of these strains stretches much according to Dutch Passion so ill probably flip when the canopy is 90-95% full, as opposed to 75-80% when i run stretchy genetics. They are looking great!
