Ill be planting out 06.06.. lets see if i hit the good weather then with the full moon on the 4th ;)

Its been said that the sun followss the moon, lets see if thats correct eyh..

Weather reports from round the world in this thread please, tyvm.

Especially extreme weather that damages outdoor plants is of interests, remember to add dates.

Thanks :)

Just when the weather is at peak for growing where I live. So is the hurricanes.

is there a ideal time to plant out doorz? im greminating 25 right now when would be good to put them out side?

That depends on your location, sir.

i am located in the in California in the USA...any suggestion on when to put my babies out side?

Hey grow ops :)

Well thats partly what this thread is about, to see if there is any correlation between moon phases and weather. Traditionally its been said that the moon does influence the weather, but ... you know, if you want to trust old sayings or not its entirely up to you.

What i can say is that last year i planned my freetime around the full moon dates and it seemed to me that i hit the good weather pretty good. There was several occasions last summer where i noticed that the weather shifted violently at times of full and new moons.

So this thread is kind of about documenting these things, to see if there is something we can learn from it. Thats why i said that id be very greatful if you report extreme weather that damages your outdoor plants in this thread. I will be reporting from my location.

Thanks for taking an interest in this subject guys, even tho its abit "out there", if you get me. June 6 is a traditional date for planting out in north europe atleast, BUT there is no documented science behind that tradition afaik. I have no idea what is common in california tbh...

ok cool ill be reaporting on any extream weather change...california is good for the weather and sun iz fully out aroud 6:30am and gose down around 9...i get about 14 hours of light hope its enough to pull a good size crop

bump so i dont loose this thing :D keeping a bit of a moon blog here for my own amusement mostly

spring hasnt come as early as weve hoped up here, i havent started up much of my outdoor yet.. think my earliest plant out date will be around 06/06, we will see..

contemplating to start off with some feral ural ruderalis.. think most of these will be too slow for my latitude but if i find some really quick ones then maybe its the start of something so ill try to pop about 50.. dont have many more.

The new moon seems to bring us here in north scandinavia more polar winds, forecast for the 20th on the new moon is down to 3 degrees C and maybe even some sleet in the air, its pretty shitty right now too tbh about 6 degrees and windy with rains. Will be interesting to see if we get that weather shift on june 4 then. Thats what i noticed last year and thats what my grandfather who was a fisherman on the arctic sea used to say, that come full moon we will see the sun.

I think its logical that such a large object as the moon so close to earth would have an impact on the weather so this is just a fun little experiment from my side, maybe i can learn something.
