Great thread this is turning in to. I'm enjoying picking up on the little things being discussed here and there. Some of the other threads with the master growers are too much for me to understand. Like that new tent you got.If you get your daughter started in on this she can post some updates in this thread too!

Most dutch passion dont like to grow small! They refuse.... my biggest plant ever was a DP on my second grow.

well hon they were very obliging with me and didnt refuse at all. HA HA.

I think I have started a new growing trend. Send me your new potential moster seeds and watch how small MOM can stunt them! LOL. Leave it to me to stunt great genetics.I did that with a HBSS once too, I think Mephisto should have recognized this and awarded me for the smallest HBSS every grown.


Im wondering what I am doing at the beginning that makes them stay small????

I'd get them just in case you grow some monsters sooner than you expect.I must have jinxed myself and ordered them before my skills were honed enough to require them because they got lost in the mail.

My cellar is full of crap I will never use, but thought i just HAD TO HAVE~ha ha..... Dont you hate sitting and waiting for new seeds, so excited...and they never arrive? UGGG. I ordered mine from @Dinafem-Mark wife. wow they came fast and they kept contact with me the whole process. I highly recommend contacting him

You got me jealous @MassMom I want to get my DP Glueberry OG and Blackberry Autos going. Another that I want to get are some of the SeedStockers Blackberry Gum Autos they look so good too. Oh how I love a stunter. Miss the days of my Gixxer1k riding around with them girls.

Oh hon dont be jealous, watch the master stunter take these potential monsters and turn them into little xmas trees, LOL. although my one DP Louise is 2feet tall now. funny considering she started out as my runt.

UPDATE: Day 67

Well, my (2) ladies Thelma (in the autopot without an airdome, on the right) is at 12" and Unknown Lady (who I'm pretty sure is a DP Think different like her sisters....in the airpot, on the left) is at 18" and they are both showing signs yellow leaves and of dying (with a little Manganese deficiency thrown in~ thank you @2Stoned2Care.) I guess TD go about 75 days so this is expected, but it still breaks my heart.

What are your opinions on "flushing"? Im just not sure when or IF I should stop nutes and go water only. I dont want to deprive them in this crucial stage by mistake.


Louise, on the other hand, is still packing on the buds and showing signs of maybe going a few more weeks. She is my pride and joy at 24" tall. Of course, she is the gorgeous lady showcased in the middle. The ONLY thing I can think of that I did different with Louise is that she has the airdome blowing up her skirt at full speed ahead. They all had the same medium (HF), got the same nutes (GH Flora Micro/Grow/Bloom) all fed at the same time, and I also rotated them around the tent so that each lady got the same time under both the @BigSm0 AutoCOB and the GalaxyHydro 300 LED. Makes my brain start clicking, why?....hmmmmmm.

I am excited to check out their root systems after harvest and compare.

I'm not gonna weigh in 'cause I feel like it was at this final juncture that I screwed up my grow a little bit. I let one girl go 10 days longer than the others and in the end the smoke from that plant was harsh whereas the others were perfect. If you don't have a microscope or a loupe you may want to pick one up so you can see the trichomes better. My buddy @;-) just picked up a microscope that hooks up to his phone for like $20 so he has all kinds of mind blowing pictures of frosty buds at the microscopic level lol. Pretty amazing how cheep those sort of electronics have become.

Regarding flushing or cleansing, whatever you want to call it, there are certainly plenty of folks on AFN who say its a waste of time and just keep on feeding 'em up to the end. On the other hand I've spoken with growers who would not consider the buds fit for human consumption if had not been fed plain water for at least a five days to a week. Anyway the plants are doing great, 24" is respectable and I know you're gonna get some smoke off those girls. Here's some much deserved rep for doing a great job with the grow and journal. I can't wait to see the difference in roots when you pull them!

Flush? I like to do more on less. I hate to waste nutes. I bought $6.00 scope to look at trichomes. It took me a few trys before I used it proper. But you can see them. I got Amazon product

2 weeks if straight water starves them when they need food to fatten buds. Maye the last 4 or 5 days,water only is ok. I dont use bottle nutes

Thanks guys! I have a microscope from my last grow. I just have to go dig it out of my moving boxes in the cellar, LOL. It is a handheld, not camera one. A camera one is on my Santa list. I would love to be able to post microscopic pics of the ladies.
Last successful grow I harvested when I saw about 10percent amber and daughter LOVED the smoke.

I will go dig it out and see where the ladies stand. If trics are clear, cloudy, etc.

I keep eyeballing my jar of recharge I used during my successful grow and not sure if I might ditch the voodoo and just use that instead. I know it gets great reviews. I dont know if it can be used in the autopots though or has to be topfed...will investigate.

This is the USB microscope that I got and a few others have this same one. It works on laptops and if you download the android app you can get the usb/microusb connector so you can use your phone.
