New Grower MoAB, Caramelicious, Jackberry first grow

D69 update:

Plants are thriving insanely under the Autocobs and the extra space of the 4x4! The light penetration is incredible and the heat is non-existent. Opening them up with a little LST and they are still stretching. Huge upgrade in growth from the blurple, I’m a convert. Looks like the MOAB has a slight Ca and Mg deficiency, a few rust spots and some yellowing. A resurgence of the iron lock-out is possible I guess, however I’m fastidiously keeping the nute feed water at 6.5. The runoff is coming off at 6.4 so nute lockout seems unlikely. Will up the addition of the True organic Cal/Mag OAC from 1 ml to 2 ml per gallon and see if that makes a difference. Not stressing too much about it as it could just be the lime green new growth that seems like a lot of people see in week 2-3 of flower/stretch.

ok, at first, i was thinkin, "69d & no preflower yet-??"...and then, i remembered  :smoking: lookin good! ppp

Day 81: week 4 of 12/12 flowering update

Looking good I think. 4 Autocobs in the 4x4 are fantastic. Lights are about 14” away from the tops. These are photos and the stretch seems to have stopped. Still feeding based on just the standard fox farms nute trio recommended schedules, every other day, 2 gals across all three plants. Runoff from the JackBerry was 5.8 but the other 2 are 6.0 and 6.1. Ordered a 70pint dehuey to knock down the rh in my garage where the tents are. Beach humidity almost always in the 60-70% range and during lights off during the day I’m at 70%. Worried about rot/molds. I do have 3 fans running and am exchanging the air in the tent every minute nonetheless since this is my first grow I want all the insurance I can get to make it across the finish line. Having a great time, learning a TON, and generally stoked.

End of Week 5 update

Followed the Fox Farms table and viola...nute burn and low pHdue to salt build up. JackBerry and Moab runoff was down to 5.5 with the Caramelicious holding at 6.1. She’s much bigger and hence age more of the glutton fest I was dumping on them. Didn’t full on flush any of the pots just ran a gallon of pure 6.5-7 RO through the pots for each of 3 watering. No nutes, no cal mag even. Runoff pH back to 6.3-6.5 on all plants. Nute burn not too bad in the plants but def there. started back feeding 1/2 strength and will monitor pH of runoff to adjust. Dehuey working great. RH down to 35% in the garage and 40-50% in the tents and holding. Continuous drain into a 5 gal sparklettes bottle generates 2.5-3 gal condensate every 24 hrs. Also loosely taped the 4”intake tube to the exhaust of the dehuey to equalize the pressure in the 4x4. Worked great and added a little extra warmth yo the tent. All in all, learning how to recover and keep on growing. No complaints. Here’s some pics.

-> third pic, me see the drumz! :jump: ppp

Beginning Week 8 of 12/12 flip update:
Plants doing great. Keeping feed schedule of Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom at 1/2 strength every other watering. Humidity 40-50% and the 70pint humidifier seems to be working but not too hard to do the whole garage. Just cruising really at this point, waiting for harvest.

Question: I’m guessing I have at least 2-3 weeks left before harvest on these. Opinions?

(in best aol mail voice) "u have milk!" it'z alwayz hard to guess theze thingz, plantz bein what they are & all, lol, but i'd say they don't have too much longer, so keep an amber eye out ;) ppp

Harvested the Caramelicious and the JackBerry on 12/22, after 9 weeks at 12/12. May have been a hair early nonetheless yields look promising and a few sample tokes of the lower underdeveloped nugs without cure smoke well and have a nice stone. Looking forward to these buds after a full cure, assuming I manage that part of the process successfully. It seems more of an art than a science so...no substitute for experience. Just gotta do it.

MOAB is a slow finisher. Trichomes on the buds still 20-30% clear and very little amber going into week 10. 65% Sativa genetics so I guess this is par for the course. Seeing some amber on the frosted sugar leaves however I understand those turn first. All good, just in learning mode. Buds are looking sexy though!
