Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a wonderful day. Figured I'd take the time to submit my grow journal.

I'm currently growing in a closet in my bedroom. My setup is pretty basic at the moment as I'm budgeting for more equipment. At the moment I have a 300w Apollo Horticulture LED panel (175w true power) hanging up in the closet about 2 feet over my young girls. I'm growing in 1gallon pots

Hey there @DivineSpirit ! Great start to a journal. How big is your closet? Do you know what temperatures you're getting in there? Do you have any air flow? I'm quite new to growing but I'd be a little concerned about the leaf edges curling like that. It could be a heat issue.

There are other more experienced growers that hang out nearby, let me tag them in for you @Micron Creek @iWumbo . Guys, Divine Spirit is off to a good start, should he be worried about the leaf edges curling like that? I've not encountered it before.

Yeh that is definitely heat related. I had a 45w CFL hovering to close as well as a LED. The issue has since been addressed and the new growth seems much happier.

As for ventilation I open my closet doors which are 7ft wide by 6.5ft tall and allow a powerful room fan to blow air directly into the closet and I always have windows open in the bedroom to allow for new fresh air. Plenty of co2 considering we live in our bedroom when we aren't out doing something exciting . Or out on a date.

The space inside the closet is approx 10ft wide and 2 feet deep. I'm only growin in the corner of the closet which is about 2.5ft wide by 5ft tall. There is a lot of light being reflected back since there is 3 walls. Im not losing to much light

My temps are unknown but I know I'm not pushing 90. The closet isn't much warmer under the lights than the ambient in my bedroom .

Welcome to AFN.
Basic Hygrometer is a useful tool.
Just a consideration, open windows can lead to pests and or mold. LED creating the perfect conditions if not monitored.

yeah my meter broke so I'm sol for a little while. Temps are ok though and alright I'll keep the window closed . Works better I can keep the cold air circulating in the room from the Ac units

What's up man . I think besides a little heat stress them plants are looking pretty good . Also welcome to the afn. if you feel like there is a deficiency or your plamt is potentially Ill etc the infirmary is good for that .

hey buddy hope all is well and green throughout the land. seen a few guys doing closet grows recently with some not bad results so i hope it all goes well for you mate. if you need any advice just pop into live stoners and there will always be someone not to far with an answer for you. keep it green dude

But yo I was out all day and I came home and my room was smelling like straight up dank. It's mad skunky. The ak47 influence here. I need my carbon filter and fan ASAP. And it's still vegging and stretchin. Haha
